Very interesting post indeed ;)

My suggestion is to log on to your Rebtel account (surprise surprise), add the hotels landline as one of your primary numbers (you can have 5 in total, landlines or mobile numbers) and then make a call to your friend, wife, mother or who ever it might be :)

Hey guys,

I'm Alex and I work at Rebtel (surprise surprise, a competitor).

I read this article (good one by the way Adam) and just thought that I had to clarify some things.

The concept of providing users with local numbers has been alive and kicking at Rebtel since 2006. To my best knowledge we have the most competitive rates out of all the VoIP-based companies out there and we manage to do that without any support by advertising or connection fees (Jaxtr actually charge a connection fee of 2 cents for every call).

Although with all things considered, I'm extremely happy that the general VoIP calling behavior is starting to catch on. It's about time :)

As unfortunate as it might be, I will now have to burst your bubble.

I had the most amazing run during one of my daily mens room routines and come out on top with a staggering 2,386,591 (!).
