A follow up would be great, I think using the same formula that was used in this last film will be fine. I think using elements from part 4 and 5 as well as some new ideas would go great for a follow-up. Keep the film in and around Crystal Lake, keep it creepy, throw in the humor etc, Derek Mears should be Jason again. I really hope at some point there is a Jason vs Freddy vs Myers film made. If need be just pretend the first Freddy vs Jason film never happened. Make this one more serious, and scary.

It makes u wonder just how much screen time Megatron will get, could it be that the Fallen is defeated by the Autobots and then out of desperation Starscream and the other decepticons revive Megatron. Or something like that. I'd love to see Megatron and the Fallen fight. Lots of rumors. I've heard that Starscream, Ratchet, Prime all die in ROTF. Hope it's just that rumors.

These designs don't look that bad, Devastator is going to be huge. Just wonder if Devastator fights the Fallen, The Fallen character has that demonic alien look, I think the designs will work fine. Two rumors I keep hearing are that Megatron will be in the movie as a tank, and that Starscream gets killed off. Megatron being in the movie is fine with me, but Starscream should not be killed off in the 2nd movie. He is an ICON in the Transformers universe.Has many fans. Should wait till the third and final? Transformers movie for the mighty Starscream to fall.

Ok so now Soundwave will transform into a jetlike form, sort of like Megatron in the first movie. To bad they couldn't make Soundwave Transform into multiple forms, oh well. I wish Frenzy was in the Transformers 2,but I guess we cant have both Ravage and Frenzy. to bad. Frenzy was cool. I think the new look of Soundwave will be ok. The movie will be a action-packed popcorn blast, just what we all want and need for the summer time. June 26th, 2009

Two Icons, wouldn't miss it for the world. I hope the Dark Knight is the highest grossing movie of 2008. I think this movie is going to be one hell of a ride. I know me and the girlfriend are going to see it two times at least. Hope Heath wins an Oscar award.

X-Files wasn't a bad movie. it just came out at the wrong time, plus the fact that the story had nothing to do with the alien conspiracy stories that made the TV show so good. It's a stand alone story that had nothing to do with aliens, so that made alot of fans decide to just wait for the DVD. Plus The Dark Knight is the best film of 2008 thus far, add it all up and it's no surprise that X-Files I Want to Believe box office numbers are so low. Dark Knight is a movie you want to see again and again, X-Files I Want to Believe is a wait for the DVD.

Transformers 2 looks awesome. What is bombing the aircraft carriers, is that Starscream pinning Sam to the ground. that big robot at the end has to be the Constructions aka Devastator. I know one T2 website had described Devastator having the body sort of like a gorilla. look like it has two big wheels as well. Looks like Prime is going to get into another big time brawl and take quite a beating, but he is Prime and we all know he will fight till the death before ever giving in to any decepticon, thats why he's our hero. Hope neither Prime nor Starscream get killed off. considering there is talk of a third Transformers movie in 2011, killing off one or both of these iconic Transformers would be a big mistake. will do well. The book is well known all over the world, and the movie made
in (i think) 1984 was and is a classic. So let it be remade. Hope it has some

This Fallen character looks really pissed off. Must be upset that he won't get to fight against Megatron. I've heard a rumor that Starscream gets killed by the Fallen character, does anyone know if this is true or just misinformation. Starscream shouldn't die until the very last Transformers movie( Transformers 3 or 4). Cool Poster though.

I would hope that Paramount would consider moving the date to July 4th, 2012. Bay should direct Transformers 3. I think a change in directors could be a mistake. X-Men 3 is a good example of what changing directors can do. X-Men 3 was ok, but it could have been better. Bay brings to the table what is needed for a live action adaption of the Transformers universe, humor, lots of explosions, giant robots beating each other up, yeah and some cheeze, but this is a sci-fi movie that appeals to both kids and older fans from the 1984-89 G1 run. I think Transformers 2 will prove that Bay is the man for a third film. Paramount do the right thing, keep BAY in the fold.

I dont think it should be a big deal, Paramount should just move the movie back to July 4th, 2012, now is not the time to change directors. Michael Bays style is a perfect fit for Transformers movies. Bay and Speilberg being executive producer is a good team. If Paramount is smart they wont break this tandem up.

OK for Transformers 2 I wonder which Autobots and Decepticons will appear,
many choices to choose from, there was Trailbreaker, Smokescreen, Hound, Mirage,Wheeljack,Vintage, Inferno, as for the Decepticons there was Skywarp, Thundercracker, Soundwave w ( Ravage, Laserbeak), Sixshot, Rumble, Dirge, Galvatron, lots of choices, I think for the 2nd film the filmakers shouldn't go to over the top, yes have plenty of action, but the 2nd film should be a lead up to the 3rd. I don't want to see any of the main Autobots or Decepticons be killed off in the 2nd film, especially Optimus Prime, Ironhide, Bumblebee, Starscream, if Soundwave is in the 2nd, don't kill him off either, I'd really like to see Starscream get more screen time in the 2nd, now of course I know that there will have to be some Autobots and Decepticons that will have to be killed off, thats fine, just get ones from the Beastwars series or make up some new bots all together to be the cannon fodder. The one big screwup that the animated movie made was killing off Prime, Ironhide, Starscream, Megatron turns into Galvatron, etc. the series was never the same, even though they eventually brought Prime and Starscream back. it was kind of to late. so anyways words of wisdom to the filmakers of Transformers 2, don't kill off Prime, Ironhide,Bumblebee,Ratchet,
Starscream, Soundwave, etc, OK??

Well let's see there are a ton of Autobot and Decepticons characters for part two thru four.

Soundwave, Galvatron, Shockwave, Thundercracker,Skywarp,
Tidal Wave(aircraft carrier), Ravage, Lazerbeak, Rumble,Blitzwing, Blurr, Wheeljack, Ultra Magnus, Hot Rod, Skyfire, Hound, Inferno,Prowl, Mirage, Cliffjumper, Buzzsaw, Constructicons,
All the Dinobots-Grimlock, Snarl,Slag,Sludge,and Swoop,
also Sideswipe, Smokescreen, and many others. Also I'd like to see Frenzy in part two, also Blackout should return for part two, how about Omega Supreme. One thing is for sure the main autobot and decepticon characters should not die, Prime, Bumblebee, Ironhide, Ratchet, Starscream, Soundwave, if these get killed off to soon then your G1 fanbase will totally lose interest. If any of these have to die let it be in the final battle in the final film. Only then. till then there are plenty of other autobot and decepticon to be cannon fodder. Megatron should also return either as himself or rebuilt as Galvatron. And he and Prime should be in the final showdown in the final movie. Prime should win, but let it be one heck of a fight.

Heath's version of the Joker is better than Jack's it's that simple.
Heath's version was darker, more realistic, and he also did the

I liked both versions of the Joker, but I will have to give the EDGE to Heath Ledgers version, his Joker seemed tougher, when he fights Batman it's not one sided. The Dark Knight is the best Batman movie made yet. It's one movie not to miss. The trick with the pencil is one example of how Heaths Joker was not one to mess with. Nothing personal against Jack, he's cool and all that, but Heath's Joker wins this contest.

For the third film I guess we'll have the Riddler, and Two-Face, as far as The Joker goes, as much as I loved Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker, I think there are actors out there who could do just as good a job, right now no one wants to see anyone else play the Joker, so I don't think the Joker will be in the third film, if there is a fourth film the Joker could return, by then I think more people would be open to the idea of another actor playing the Joker. Heath would want someone else to get a chance to play the Joker, just as he was given the chance. I remember when Heath was first announced to play the Joker, some fans thought he wouldn't be anygood, and that Heath would never be able to top Jack Nicholson's Joker, Heath proved them all wrong. Anyway Go see The Dark Knight if you haven't seen it. And if you have seen it, well go see it again. It's not just a movie, it's an event.

The trailer looks great to me, very dark tone, I think Bay has an ace up his sleeve, this film will be very good. Just hope the rumors of Starscream and Prime both getting killed off in this film are just that rumors. These are two of the biggest Transformer icons ever. They shouldn't die till the last film is made. Anyway the theater me and my girlfriend went to was packed for Friday the 13th, and when the trailer for TROTF finished people were like "hell yeah" "awesome" some were cheering and clapping, needless to say this trailer made folks excited for June 24th. Cant wait.

Is that Megatron or is that the Fallen. ok latest rumors with Megs was that he was in the movie but only in flashbacks?? In that one scene with Megan Fox is that Megatron coming up behind her or is that the Fallen character, looks like Megs to me, also that is Megatron in the ocean going to the surface right.. both of those scenes can't be flashbacks.. so with Megatron back, Prime is going to have his hands full, Prime will have to fight both the Fallen and Megatron...dudes and dudettes this movie is going to be so so WICKED!!!!! forget the petty complaints of some of the humor and or plot.. I'm not missing this movie for the world.

Transformers 2 will make more money at the boxoffice than Terminator 4.
I like both the Transformers and Terminator movies. But Transformers 2 will win.
A war between Transformers and Terminators , make it happen. This is the kind of ideas all those movie directors and producers need to be thinking of. Instead of all the remakes and prequels. People who say oh that can't happen, why not, this should happen. "autobots come to earth and help the human resistance fight Skynet" I guess the decepticons would try and side with Skynet first, but Skynet turns on them and the decepticons have no choice but to form an alliance with the Autobots. Together they smash and trash the best SKYNET can send against them. A story like this would be cool. Just like Star Wars vs Star Trek, it would be cool to see the Star Fleet engage Imperial Stardestroyers. These are the ideas that would be a win win situation for the movie goer. But right now to many in Hollywood just want to feed us remakes.

CHINA WILL BE THE INVADER. MAKES SENSE. CONSIDERING COMPUTER HACKERS FROM CHINA HAVE BEEN TRYING TO HACK INTO THE PENTAGON, DEFENSE , POWER GRIDS OF THE US. THIS ISN'T THAT MUCH OF A STRETCH.
CHINA AND RUSSIA HAVE ALSO BEEN CONDUCTING HUGE MILITARY TRAINING EXERCISES TOGETHER.(WONDER WHY) AS FAR AS CHINAS MILITARY GOES, IT'S THE LARGEST IN THE WORLD 2.5 million with untold millions in reserve. A growing airforce and navy. ( They are building Carriers). As mentioned above CHINA is also very dangerous with their cyberwarfare capabilities. Needless to say CHINA is a threat that no one should take lightly. So having China as the invader in the Red Dawn remake makes perfect sense.

Well The Dark Knight is not just a movie, it's an event. The Mummy 3 can wait, if many others feel the same way the Dark Knight will prevail. A few people I've talked to who have seen Mummy 3 said it was ok but nothing special, that it was a watered down version of the first two Mummy movies. So it gets the DVD treatment in my book. I'm going to see the Dark Knight again, it's worth every penny.

I hope this is for real, The Fallen character, Soundwave, more Starscream, Megatron returning, Barricade, Constructicons, Aircraft carrier transformer, One thing I hope is that neither Optimus Prime nor Starscream die in this film. Transformers isn't the Transformers without those two icons.

Megatron as a tank sounds good to me, it would be cool, but again this could be just bs to keep us fans offbase as to what the story will really be about. I hope the Revenge of the Fallen title is talking about the character known as the The Fallen, not just the return of Megatron. If Megatron is a tank what kind of tank will he look like, M1-Abram prototype, a Russian tank, well we will just have to wait and see.
I hope that if the Fallen character is in this movie, there is some kind of reference to Unicron. Unicron should be in the third film, as should the Dinobots, and various other Transformers. Anway it looks as if Transformers 2 is going to have a whole lot of KA-BOOM!!! in it. I hope that neither Optimus Prime nor Starscream are killed off in this one. I think it's better to keep these two around till the final Transformer movie. whenever that is. Prime and Starscream are icons in the world of the Transformers. If they die let them die in the final fight of the final battle, of the final war between the Autobots and Decepticons. Autobots winning the war. Here's to the Revenge of the Fallen. May it kick all the ass that we Transformer fans could ever want.

Transformers gets a free card because it is based off the the HUGE 1980's G1 cartoon,(best series out of all the cartoon series in my opinion) this franchise has a HUGE built in fanbase. the different cartoon series over the years, the comics, the toys, etc. All us kids of the 80's waited a long time to have Transformers made into a live action movie, now we have it, and we are loving it. Yeah the first movie did have some plot moments, but seriously who cares, the overall movie was great, it was fun, it was action packed, it was what it was intended to be a summertime action filled popcorn flick. and Revenge of the Fallen will be all that and more. As far as audiences go, the audience I saw Revenge of the Fallen with loved the movie. Everyone laffed,cried,cheered,etc throughout the film.
A good many were talking about seeing the film again. It's 2007 all over again, most critics slammed the movie, most moviegoers enjoyed it.
I thought the film was AWESOME, not perfect, but a blast and lots of fun.

Its good to see some armored vehicles, does anyone have any pictures of some
tanks.
