Its only supported with the Mac, but I found some instructions for getting it to work with XP. Using Firefox and FoxyProxy I could get them to connect and I could surf for about a minute, then it would stop working.

Re: How to Do a Set-Top Box

I have a ReplayTV 5000 with lifetime subscription, a Roku Netflix player, and a Oppo DVD player. I'm looking for something that will replace all three but have come up empty. The XBox will support Netflix (soon), but no Blu-Ray. The PS3 has the best Blu-ray, but no support for Netflix. I'm not sure either will provide true DVR functionality either. I suppose I could built my own, but I'm not sure how to support Netflix streaming. Roku open-sourced their code, but I doubt that includes the necessary decryption. I guess I'll keep waiting.

Re: Keep Your Barcode Scanner off My Merchandise

Jake, I recently reviewed four iPhone apps from retailers, including Amazon. I suggest you check out the one from Sam's Club. http://blogs.oracle.com/retail/2008/12/shopping.... Its pretty cool.

I also discussed the future of m-commerce a bit. http://blogs.oracle.com/retail/2008/11/does_mob.... I think retailers see a lot of potential from smartphones but are still searching for the killer app.

Also note that Walmart will be selling $99 iPhones by the end of the month. http://www.sciam.com/article.cfm?id=wal-mart-to.... That could significantly increase the market for retailer apps.

Re: Happy Festivus

Grab the pole from the crawl space. No decorations necessary. Nice and simple.

Re: Anatomy of a Spam Attack

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

j/k

I've seen a similar trend on my blog as well. I just recently started using Google Analytics so I'm still learning. I found a cool Adobe AIR widget/gadget for Google Analytics that seems to work well -- http://www.desktop-reporting.com/.

Re: iPhones and Enterprise Identity Management (Clayton Donley's Blog)

Very useful app. Thanks much. How many hours did you invest?
