Yes, Thank You for Smoking was a really well-written book by Christopher Buckley - WFB's son. I read it back in college and it is a bit over the top, but it is interesting and has a lot of humor at nearly everyone's expense.

I don't know - tonight was kind of dodgy for all the girls. I couldn't believe how bad they all pretty much stunk up the joint. Part of my feeling about it is that with regards to song choice, a lot of these people are too young to know that the songs they have chosen are cheesy. And I also am pretty mystified, personally, by the popularity of Nashville country, and so I'm probably just too biased to appreciate most of the songs tonight.
