I'm ready. Bring it on!

This is "write" up my alley. I'll give it thought all day long. I liked Jen's suggestion. It's concise and well said.

Diesel: It's about giving the hidden gems of the blogosphere the shine they need. Every two weeks, Chuck features a new blog that everybody follows for two weeks, thereby giving them a fresh audience that they wouldn't have had otherwise. Simple genius.

Fantastic idea, Maya.  I'll email you when I have a moment.

You deserve ALL the praise, Chuck, as well as the readers who made it happen. These all sound like great suggestions, and I'm sure this ball's just starting to roll. Oktober 5 is awesome, and that's funny about your avatar, because the first time I saw it, it reminded me of him.

Again Chuck, wonderful idea. I've already added Zoe to the reader, and I'm on my way over there now. Seems like an excellent first choice (4 languages... wow!)

I don't know exactly, but I have a lot of thoughts. I'm thinking about writing something long, with a lot of unbroken thought, then splicing it into separate posts, and running it for a week. I do plan on plundering your archives first. I look at the headlines and I feel like I'm combing my wife's journals. Basically, I think our federal education is abysmal. We're teaching, essentially, the same way we have for decades and it isn't nearly enough. If we want to maintain our global position, then we need to be working a lot smarter. Too many teachers are teaching for a paycheck, so on and so forth for like five-thousand words.

Thanks Angela, that's a really nice thing to say. I have yet to truly dig in to the amazing resource of your site (time is my best friend and ultimate foe). It seems that we see eye to eye on many things. I'll be doing a series of posts on education in a few weeks. I have some things to say that are not terribly kind. I hope that you still like me when it's all over.
