http://disqus.com/people/e106435f07c1b9b146bc0ba6741cc860/enWed, 21 May 2008 15:30:04 -0000http://solidsmack.disqus.com/apple_ads_make_good_fun_of_vista/#comment-1181801I just completed an installation of SolidWorks 2008 on a Macbook Pro running Bootcamp.<br><br>Last week I installed SolidWorks 2007 on a Macbook running Parallels.<br><br>Other than a mouse glitch on the system running Parallels that was easily resolved, both systems seem to run pretty well.<br><br>Not doing anything heavy duty, but did run some COSMOS FEA analysis on the Macbook Pro.<br><br>All in all, it went quite smoothly in both cases. The Macbook install was pretty slow however. No undo command was sorely missed. I accidently deleted something and found no way to get it back.<br><br>The install was painless.<br><br>Hope to see more web based CAD apps in the future.John PicinichWed, 21 May 2008 15:30:04 -0000
