in CAD on the Web: Toss AutoCAD, Edit DWG’s Online on SolidSmack
Josh,

I installed and played briefly with Blueprint Now.

Seems cool, but pretty limited as you mentioned. No undo command was sorely missed. I accidently deleted something and found no way to get it back.

The install was painless.

Hope to see more web based CAD apps in the future.

in Apple Ads Make Good Fun of Vista on SolidSmack
I just completed an installation of SolidWorks 2008 on a Macbook Pro running Bootcamp.

Last week I installed SolidWorks 2007 on a Macbook running Parallels.

Other than a mouse glitch on the system running Parallels that was easily resolved, both systems seem to run pretty well.

Not doing anything heavy duty, but did run some COSMOS FEA analysis on the Macbook Pro.

All in all, it went quite smoothly in both cases. The Macbook install was pretty slow however. I suspect Parallels has something to do with it.
