Ofcourse, this had to be 'invented' not even a year after leaving europe... sigh... I agree with harry, the UMTS flatrate are pretty tempting (Holland has one too from vodaphone) though coverage is still far from ideal. I remember reading in 2004 articles in newspapers about how worldwide coverage of UMTS was expected in end 2006... and here we are, as far from that coverage as we are from the paperless office.

Kouroth, you can buy a seperate number block (USB connected) and place it on the left side of the keyboard. It works like a charm for me. I work in finance and its great to type in some numbers in excel while keeping the right hand free to navigate the mouse. Im right handed too btw.

Agreed on the bit, but as far as sony-ericsson phones go, this one is stunningly beautiful.

Exactely, that is a very usefull item for skiing/snowboarding. I kind of like the looks of it too, not too big (considering headphones are uncomparable with earplugs). Never heard of the brand though...

I saw this before too. I wonder the real practical use of this as opposed to a S-video and VGA out connection on a cell. There's monitors/tv's almost everywhere. The need for a flat white surface in a dark room makes it just too hard to come up with situations in which i would use this.

It's really a shame that these kind of lawsuits can be filed and get on the news. Of course the parents are not making any sense at all, and worse, show by means of worldwide media what an idiots they really are. How can they be so shameless in filing this suit? Cause to me all they are doing is showing that they didnt educate their kids well in this area and on top of that showing them that if you fuck up, you can always sue a corporate giant of choice. What life-lessons are they teaching their kids? If i were them, i'd shut up, correct the mistake (if possible) and hope no-one will ever find out.

As of MySpace, i dont like it one bit, but from what i understand a lot of people do, so why take that fun away from so many people just cause you dont like it or refuse to educate your kids accordingly?

This thing is quite old guys, my ex girlfriend bought it about 3 years ago in Holland. It's a pretty interesting camera that lets you make artsy photos, though the lack of any practical use makes it more a novelty item than anything else (hence the site, i guess).

80 bucks sounds way to expensive, i remember she got it for around 25 euros. Shutter interval is set at either lightning fast (about a second for all 4 shots) or slow (about 15 seconds for all 4 shots if i remember correctly)

To rewind it, you have to peel out a lever (black disc shaped thing on the upper left of the device on the picture) and wind it by hand.... pretty 1967 ey?

I like the way Philips (and more CE producers) is thinking. Instead of making us drool with all sorts of prototype products, they actually release a lot of them in selected markets and small number. Instead of only targeting mass consumers, they are creating a diversion in their products, sort of testing the markets in a more practical way.
I like that.

Not the shifting without exposed gear, nor the automatic shifting is new on bikes. I've seen them before, even on branded bikes. I wonder though why oh why people would want a automatic gear box in their bike.

Let me guess, the clamshell opener is packed in a plastic clamshell.

Personally i never had problems opening up those clamshell packages with kitchen knifes. The thing that drives me crazy though, is that i dont have a kitchenknife with me when i just bought a gadget in a store, which leads me to using my teeth because: who wants to wait opening up what they just bought?

It says Trekking Mahlzeiten, which means something like "outdoor/trekking dinners" in german, so its not exactly aimed at home or backyard bbq use.
I think we would all agree on the taste, but it'll surely beat starving in the wilderness. Still though, cheesburger in a can... Who would have thought we'd live to see the day?

I read the site daily (mon-fri) and hope you guys continue the great work you've been doing for all these years now.

As for the product: 230 bucks?! that's pretty steep considering it only gives you 15 feet when streaming video and the alternatives at hand.
