One thing I did forget about was you can shoot blindly from behind cover. The game just has your guy shoot over the cover and you don't get a reticle to aim with. Still, I like the fact that I don't have to expose myself to fire on the enemy.

I went until 5am. Damn 'Twilight Princess' and it's super long dungeons. I played for 4 hours 25 minutes according to my save. :P The system never locked up and didn't get hot at all. Though, the controller can be a bit painful, but that was only after I stopped playing. Felt like my arthritis was acting up. ;)

Eh, I'm not actually pissed; however, I don't think any OS better than any other. Each of them have their own little quirks that makes them better and worse than their competitors. I get a little hot under the collar when I hear that one company is ripping off another company. True, I've been guilty of doing that myself when talking of Sony's PS3. Hardware is a little different than software to me. When writing software, there are so many ways of going about making the same application.

As far as IE7, you can think it's a crappy browser, I avoid IE as much as possible. I personally use Firefox with so many extensions I can't imagine what it would be like without them. I've never run into anything that IE7 didn't display correctly, but granted that doesn't really mean anything.

I'm not a PC person, or a Mac person, or a Linux person. I, personally, view OS prejudice the same way as person prejudice. It's just not necessary and can come across as ignorant.

Well, consider the television industry. Particularly the news broadcast. I have heard time and time again from actual producers that most of the time the talent is totally reliant on the teleprompter or the scripts. Guess who writes the scripts/teleprompter text? The producers. The cameraman, I will admit, has less and less of a strenuous in-studio job with the advent and application of remote control cameras, however, many overnight breaking stories are shot and interviewed by a cameraman, so that kind of makes up for it.

I wouldn't say that actors have an easy job, either.

I got it to work... maybe you aren't pasting the whole code? You should make sure there is an img tag inside the a href tag.

that google tool is good, but I don't have text messaging (my sister abused it), so I like the Google 411. You can also look up a business on Google Maps and have it call your phone and connect you for free. Check it out, it's the call link under each business.

Hmm. Thanks for the FYI. I will use Netflix and see if I get the same results. I did the firmware upgrade. Turns out all you need to do is just put an HD DVD in the drive and it triggers the update. Presuming, of course, you have the machine connected to Xbox Live.

I'm starting to really hate HD DVD. The new firmware update for the HD DVD add on for the Xbox 360 turned it into a paperweight that plays Batman Begins and probably DVDs. Microsoft won't replace it because it is "out of warranty." Now, you can't really blame them, but when you make a bad product, you need to buck up.

Sorry about that. Sadly, I am going to have it repaired, but I am getting from "free" money soon so that will balance it out.

I think solid state memory is great for notebook HDDs and pendrives, but not as a disc replacement.

VOD is great too, but then you have to have a pretty decent amount of bandwidth for good quality HD content.

There are rumors of new disc technology that out-does Blu-Ray and HD DVD in both single layer capacity and number of available layers.

The RG6 is so I have something better than all the RG59U I left in the apartment. And Mike gave me a shit-ton of compression ends so I can actually use all that cable. You know Mike, you met him.

You know. The majority of what I write here is only for my benefit, its how I deal with what's going on. I post it in a public forum for people to understand my thought processes and contribute to the conversation I'm having with myself.

Maybe I should tell people how I feel instead of blogging about it. Maybe I should just keep my trap shut, letting this website drift into the dark depths of abandoned websites. Maybe I should tell you that you completely missed the point of what I was saying and that you should fuck off. I will not do any of those. As far as the email thing. Understand something. I've never really felt that I was truly friends with you and Jason. To me, it felt more like I was a friend through other people. I never really felt that comfortable around either of you, so when you email me, my natural reaction is to just not respond. Yes, I understand that's something I should work on and yes 6 years is a long time.

I don't really like being me, but a lot of the time, I can't help it.

Well, turns out building your own system with a CableCARD system in them can be a bit of a... call it pain. ATI does have an external tuner that will take a CableCARD, but it seems that it does not include the ability to deal with HD content. This said, you can buy pre-made systems from HP, Dell, Toshiba, etc. that do support HD natively. As of now, as far as I know, building your own system to deal with CableCARDs and digital cable is not really at all feasible. More research will be done and I will get back to you on this.

How do you figure out what you have to offer to this New Media society? Do you figure it out before you start offering or is more along the lines of starting and then figuring it out as you go.

I want to be part of this new movement, but I am having a hell of a time figuring out what I can offer that isn't already out there.
