The bankers clawed their way to the top against massive competition - our government ministers weasled their way into their posts.



Our government are completely outclassed by the bankers (brown is completely outclassed by a slug - it has better eye sight, is less slimey and doesn't even have a nose to pick.).

I would like to say, that I have generally found scots to be nice people - however they are quite canny, and if they see a dick-head-cunt in their midts they are bright enough to send it as far from their own precious land as they can -- westminster is generally seen as ideal.

Dying of natural causes is an unavoidable part of existence - it just happens.



Being killed by a bomb or bullet is avoidable and unnatural - it takes a brave individual to take that chance on our behalf.

Everyone is highlighting that Fred Goodwin only gets the pension 'for the rest of his life'.

Apparently the crash wasn't his fault, so it was the texting while driving (which was only discovered because of the crash?).

What makes Cameron Jr so much more important than the thousands of others who die every day?



Cameron missing PMQ's is not the end of the world, the fact the torys have noone who can cover at short notice is truely shocking.



This is a personal tragedy, not a national one.



Every time brown reads out the names of the dead soldiers at the start of PMQ's in future he will be showing them contempt and disrespect.



My sympathy to *everyone* who has lost someone recently.

I think lanarkshire could be on the end of a load of 'data protection' complaints (by each of the unsuccessful applicants!)


BTW: Maybe public sector jobs should be remunerated by dutch auction -- keep cutting the pay until you only have two or three candidates.

The tories have a great chance here - if they have the balls to take it.


On the face of it privatisation would be supported by 'tory dogma' - but it seems to have little or no support amongst the public (apart from me...).



Cameron needs to show that the sniff of the upcoming victory over Brown has not turned him into a rabid dogma driven monster (like labour is now, and the tories were towards the end of their last reign) - Cameron needs to show that THE PEOPLE and DEMOCRACY come first -- he should make his case to the people, and then DO WHAT THEY WANT.



If Labour want to make jibes about tories doing what the people want, then it is a criticism that the tories should be proud to receive.
