Many thanks for this story. My wife's family is in Sicily and we have visited 3 times now. That said, I need to improve my Italian a little before each visit and Duolingo looks sure to help. I have run through some basic lessons over there now and it is helping me learn a bit of the writing and grammar, which I know nothing about, as I only really have to speak when we visit. I am also going to have my son use Duolingo to get some further practice for his high school Spanish classes. I think it will be a great way for him to review.

For Wordpress users, a plugin such as RSS Footer allows you to include this call for action in the RSS feed without it appearing in each blog post on the site. This might be a way to remove a bit of the redundancy so users on the blog don't have to see it twice.

Since we are scattered all over the US, we each record our parts separately and some very talented members edit the entire thing together from these pieces.

Unfortunately, this means no blooper real. Maybe we should create one, like Pixar does. :)

One time I could pass off as a fluke of circumstance. Twice shows a trend and a red flag. I might try one more time, if I was feeling really generous, but that would certainly be the end.

I was similarly impressed with the book. I spent a lot of time working my way through it, as I kept having to stop and make notes and simply think about the issues at hand.

I got my copy out of the LA Public Library, as I do with most new books, but I would certainly consider it for inclusion in my permanent collection.

Oh geez, tough question as there is so much that makes up my life. I can't imagine focusing on 1 thing at the exclusion of all else, soI am all over the place. Deep Breath.....

This is the same reason I wrote the article "I am a producer, not a podcaster: a while ago. I prefer the more generic term. I also agree that I get tired of explaining what podcasting is. It does indeed take to long and detracts from the conversation.
