Note to KBDfans: North-facing switch is incompatible with Cherry profile on only some rows, mostly the home row and below. This means South-facing is unnecessary for top-row switches so just replace 4 copper swap sockets with North-facing hot sockets in future PCB designs.

Sorry. Got confused between KBD6X and KBD6X RGB page. Looks like there is a lot more difference between the two boards than meets the eye.
KBD6X has underglow LEDs, supports QMK, and is not recognized by KBTools.
KBD6X has per-key LEDs, no underglow LEDs, is recognized by KBTools, but does not seem to support QMK.
Damn confusing. I now have both and, frankly, I prefer the cheaper version because I like QMK and underglow LED.

Instead of getting layer switching to work, I managed to recreate a barebone version of my setup using just 'replace key' shortcuts.
Missing trick was double-clicking on the replacement character box to pop open the full keyboard character picker.
To choose, double-click on the character you want to replace with. Horrible UI.

Where is the reset jumper in v2 version this PCB?
While KBTools works, I couldn't figure out how to do temporary layer switch.
Couldn't flash QMK using the usual key combos either.

Mine worked out of the box with KBTools which I think is a fork of Via Configurator but I couldn't figure out how temporary layer switch works in KBTools.
Couldn't switch to QMK either because keeping SPACEBAR+B pressed while connecting cable didn't reset the board.
Finally, Reset jumpers clearly marked in Rev 1 of this PCB was not there in Rev 2 version.

Two shift keys in the HHKB Kit I received last week are twisted:

- Left 2.25U shift key twisted clockwise.
- Right 1.75U shift key twisted count-clockwise.

WARNING: v2 version of this PCB does not work with USB-C to USB-C cable.

I received this board today and it wasn't working when connected to my MBP.
Talking with support over Discord, I was told it only works with USB-A to USB-C cable.
The version that works with USB-C to USB-C cable, C2C version as they described it, will be released in 3 weeks.

Reset button is not on DZ60 rev2.0 PCB. I think the photos are showing rev1 PCB.

Can you comment on this?

What factors determine which shipping service is used?
I ask because JCEX seem to be faster than 4PX.

I have two orders, shipped two days apart but one via 4PX and another JCEX a day later.
While 4PX one is still in China, JCEX one is now in NY clearing custom.
I had similar experience with previous orders.

POM stood out for me which should make these extra hard and smoother.
No reviews yet but hoping POM reduces, if not eliminate, the need for lubing.

Feodor, how does your impl. of lock-less ring buffer differ from similar lock-less ring buffer impl. in PortAudio? I need one myself but saw that you've used the later in `vock` yet chose to write your own so I am wondering which version I should `reuse`.

Dave, I think you are confusing how you want the world to be with how it really is. I agree that it's the way should be. I disagree that it is.

If Mark was infatuated with a girl, would he wear his hoodie to first date with her? And if he did, what would the girl think? I think it's very plausible for her to think "this man won't change a thing to please me."

I don't recall Tablo boasting about his education in any of the TV appearances I watched. It was the media that focused on his education, not him. All he did was answer the questions addressed to him and he did look rather tired of talking about Stanford instead of his music.
