Finn, I like thinking of CF as "recess for the day". It's amazing how invigorated I felt after the morning session and how the good feeling kept me going all day.

And the cult comment was meant to be humorous more than anything else. After living in Boulder for as long as I have, I've seen quite a few cults...including the cult of beer snobs, Ironman athletes and Ultimate Frisbee. Besides, as long as I'm not asked to have sex with any old men, then cults don't sound all that bad. ;)

The first class this morning was tough, I cannot lie. But I'm not sure which was worse...the workout or the fact that the owner of the CrossFit studio read this post before I came in -- yikes.

Don't worry. While I won't be posting any 'before' pics, I will be posting updates. You can suffer along with me from the comfort of your own home.

Also? I like that you're a total wuss as well. Good to know who I can beat up if I have to. ;)

I think you'd really dig it Andrew. We're similar in that we both like to do many different physical activities and with CrossFit, you build strong components so that you're prepared for anything.

And although I never thought it would be on there, I'll add 'cult recruiter' to my list of skills. Might come in handy again someday...

I like to think that Wyoming uses those billboards to filter out the new folks thinking of moving there. You can enjoy the wide open spaces, but realize that meth and elder abuse run rampant.
