i believe that we all deserve to love 'unbuttoned' as well, and be loved the same way. but like clara says in the comment above mine, some people arent as lucky as u ... =( I'm one of *those* unlucky ones who have loved wholly before, and been abandoned like a pair of unwanted jeans that went out of fashion ... and after that, you sorta learn to love yourself FIRST and put your needs/wants/fears above everything else, cos if u love openly and let your heart go wild -- who's going to take care of your heart, besides yourself, right?

sigh. sometimes things just *shouldn't* be this complicated, esp. for people our age. :/

pinkpau, this was so moving i almost cried when i watched it :( u really voiced out what a lot of us daughters are feeling, but would never voice out publicly ...

i've been following your blog ever since you started quaintly.net, and how i wish i followed your pinkskyes too! :(

i guess there are perks and lows of having a high-traffic blog like yours, since there are SO many people reading you, and a lot of people just love to gossip and probe at every detail ...
as for me, i dont censor myself in my blog since its a low-traffic blog, but i keep on getting comments from friends who know me in real life that i'm a crazy emo suicidal chick from the way i blog. :P but what non-bloggers dont realize is that a blog isn't the most accurate portrayal of a person!

i can't wait to read about your experiences in the States, I'm sure you will have an awesome time there ..

i have insomnia too! le sigh. someone once told me that people who are deep-thinkers - people who ponder a lot - are usually the victims of insomnia. that, and pessimism. =( i think its quite true!

i dunno if its the same for you but i find myself 'not sleeping', only to find myself thinking a lot on my bed ... :/ till the mind is awake, though the body is dying for some rest T.T

but sleeping pills are addictive! are u sure u wanna start?

i really think that its TERRIBLE that ppl like him come up with stuff like this, and probably get away with it too. i'm not too familiar with this issue (tho i'm sure my itchy fingers will go search it up after this comment hahah) but y'know what, at least many people -like you- aren't afraid to speak up and stick up for what they believe in!

that's the nicest thing written about someone that i ever read. :) i would cry if any of my friends wrote that piece about me if i asked them to write a peer evaluation for me ... :P

yeah I HATE it when they leer at your legs or go 'amoi amoi, nak gi mane?'. god, is actually DOING THEIR JOB so damned hard?

anyway, I got robbed last year, and yes the police were very unhelpful. i believe everything i have to say has already been stated, though!

and oh, I ADMIRE how you are courageous enough to blog about 'sensitive' issues like this, and the bersih walk. in our country there's always the possibility of getting into trouble for speaking our mind, but you do it nevertheless ... and you do it very well, I must say. :D

i've been reading your blog for quite some time now, tho I hardly comment. Just wanted to say that your blog is really really inspiring. To many of your readers, you seem to be living a 'fairytale' life, but your writing is also really honest - you manage to describe your emotions really really well and are not afraid to show that you're just like any other normal girl out there... the occasional insecurities, sadness & confusion. :D
Yet despite all of that, you still seem really optimistic and brave about everything.

the pictures are really nice! and you sound like you had a really fantastic weekend. =) are you gonna heed to the fortune teller's advice? hehe

and I love checking out IKEA furnitures as well.. most of them are like erm, out of league and all, but i just love drooling at furnitures and stuff to daydream what my future house's gonna look like =D so fun!

that kid is RUDE. tsk. well there ARE a lot of racist people around, oversensitive ones too ... =( but what can we do?


tsk. but still, that kid is damn kurang ajar man.

I don't think I'm high maintenance at all, but in a bad way, cause most of my past relationships ended with the other party accusing me of not caring enough and not treating it seriously. =.=

So I guess being high maintenance may not actually be a bad thing! Unless it gets to the point of seeming psychotic ..
