Ben, you completely miss the fact that not all Android users live in the US. All the services you mentioned are of no use for people in eg. Austria, Germany, etc... Places Directory may not be revolutionary, but works very well over here.

Hyperwords holt auch mich immer wieder zurück zum Fuchs, obwohl Chrome wesentlich flotter ist. Der Internet Explorer 8 bietet ja Ähnliches unter dem Namen 'Accelerators' - allerdings übel zu bedienen und für Laien kaum um neue Befehle erweiterbar.

Interessant auch, was Hyperwords für 2009 plant: "Available 2009, Hyperwords functionality will be available on every application on your computer." Dann sollte es auch mit Chrome klappen (zumindest unter Windows)

Ich mag Evernote - das Teil ist ja wirklich superpraktisch - aber Kreditkarten, Ausweise, etc. würde ich dort nicht hinterlegen wollen...

The only thing i still miss is support for bookmarklets. Think of it: FeedDemon uses IE' rendering engine and it would be extremely comfortable to send items to ping.fm, bit.ly, friendfeed, etc...

In my opinion, a comment always belongs to the comment's author. But no comment system i know allows that author and owner to delete his comment if he likes to. For me, this is sometimes a hurdle to even post a comment. Writing to the blog author and asking for deletion my comment is way too much hassle and often, i didn't even get a reply.

I fully agree with Zuffox: There are times when a user wants his comment deleted: bad day, change of mind, whatever... So this really should be implemented.

No matter which bookmarklet i use; posting to Facebook doesn't work. I get the popup, i can enter a comment and hit submit, but nothing shows up on Facebook :-(

No problem! I just have to figure out how to seperate (micro)blogging/commenting in English/German, to not lose track ;-)

I already replaced nearly all my radio listening - Lounge FM (you should be able to stream it, so give it a try: http://www.lounge.fm/loungefm-oesterreichweit-e...) is the only station that i listen to anymore.

The most time consuming podcasts are the novels from Sigler, Hutchins, Talbot and so on... I just can't get enough of serialized for novels and even manage to follow five of them simultanously (no, the internets don't make people dumb ;-)).

Anyway, i subscribed to your picks and will see what i stay subscribed to.

It's a pity that i missed it yesterday. I really believe that it's totally worth the 4 bucks, but it's not available in iTunes outside the US. Oh man, digital distribution is a great thing, regional restrictions are not, were not and will never be...

As long as this thing is not as loud as the Xbox 360 when powered on, it IS a winner for streaming videos, photos and music to TV and stereo...
