in How Gary Vaynerchuk built a multi-million dollar empire around a video blog on How To Make My Blog
I liked the analogy of king and queen. Undoubtedly, the marketing part cannot be undermined in growing any business. In fact, nowadays in fiercely competitive world, it's the prime strategy to survive and grow.

Thanks for sharing.

I agree with Warren, in coming months we can expect Facebook to announce monetizing these high resolution videos. The war has just started... Are you listening, YouTube?

jjray7 Facebook is becoming monster force on the web. The drive to monetize, in my mind, is not critical at this point. Facebook has tremendous value based on user traffic and loyalty. They've passed myspace closing a sizable gap in less than 2 years.
http://www.techcrunch.com/2008/06/12/facebook-n...

Google should just open up the treasury and pay these facebook people whatever they want for the remaining shares of this company. The price will only go up as they get bigger.
Shazwi from what i know facebook is already having troubles monetizing the site... even Google has problems with monetizing Orkut... u gotta know the main reason facebookers are there for... mainly socialize... To think that Youtube is not making enough money with Ads everywhere, in videos, some spaces and sponsored vids, it will take Facebook a hell lot of effort...

I just know that Facebook Connect will do some good now, other than that, their changes, like the layout, chat and this video thing, won't do much good... just to keep up with everyone around them...

The staggering statistics at the end of post shows the giant of social networking. Although, Facebook is less popular in some parts of the globe, but still it is making its way at rapid speed in some new areas. Take for example, in India and Middle East, it is picking up at rapid pace.

Technorati is undoubtedly in top spot, closely followed by Google Blog search. iterend seems to be infant right now, and because it is in private beta stage, so we must give it enough time to grow.

in 2008/10/08/adsense-for-games-2/ on Mashable - The Social Media Guide
The appearance of ads may look more or less the same as 'Adsense for Content' ads, but the tighter integration of these ads within the game will certainly make it interesting.

If embedded right in the game, the CTR is likely to be more than those ads stuffed in sides. It will be interesting to see how an average gamer may react, when he will face an ad right in the middle of the screen before hoping on to the next level of the game.

Keyword research is what most people do not do. It definitely do wonders, if we devote some serious time in keyword research.

Sometimes, our schedules are so hectic (searching net for post idea, SEO, social media marketing), that we forget the very basic stuff.

Very useful video for novice as well as experienced site owners and bloggers.
