Jeromy- you put into words what I have been trying to order in thoughts for a long time now. This is always my quandry... I know we are giving our tithes to God... it is his money... given with the right heart, once released it should no longer be agonized over..

ok, mixed with the realities... of golf playing, harley driving pastors who live in a bigger house than most... and yet complain from the pulpit that the giving is not enough to stay afloat. Buying top of the line AV, when quite honestly what we had was good...sounds the same to me... and on...and on... it is this impression of lack of stewardship that keeps my checkbook closed. I think you are right on... I think that if the church made the comittment to tithe to the community, nation and world at that perchentage, God is a big enough God to help make it all work out. This is definilty a hot topic... and one that is tough for me personally.

I think that it dosen't matter what earthly or heavenly dimension it lands at. When you have truly experienced the love of God, all the other trappings do seem to fade away and pale in the awesome power of Christ. I have a favorite book, and recently I had the amazing opportunity to have coffee with it's author. That experience of sitting and learning, sharing, askin questions, laughing...with her... far surpassed reading the book. I have no idea what heaven will be like, but I can only imagine... God created the wonders we live in here... can you imagine the wonder of the creator?

I wish this stuff wasn't greek to me...

Awe Jeromy... knowing that you were trying to be helpful, the tears will soon dry up... especially if you go and plant an entire row of watermelons...and water them for her! Congrats on a beautiful daughter, your wife did a great job.

Here's praying that she will sleep through the night soon, have only plug in fresh diapers, say mommy first, and always give you the first dance. Congrats Jeromy, you are a blessed man to have such a great wife... who obviously gave her good looks to Scout.

Time to break out the old baby photos! The really embaressing ones you have been keeping for just such an occasion... Phew... you finally get to use them :)
