Great place to live, little traffic, phenomenal weather, low cost of living, creative community. Halfway between Boston and San Francisco for flights. There are quite a few perks.

You would be amazed in how often I hear Boulder as the #1 place to go to start a startup. The Venture community here is amazingly helpful, and the startup community is both talented and driven into startups, something that both Seattle and Portland lack (more of a pressure to work for a corp there).

1) Strong economic times help startups. I believe that with having a strong leadership front with a committed congress will lead to just that. 2) Having the people who have worked on his campaign, which is a startup that has done amazing things, on policy. They get tech, they get design, they get grassroots. 3) Most startups don't make the $250k, and those that do generally have expenses that cut their tax burden to be very minimal. And more... but those are the ones that stand out to me.

I agree with you, in that you should be able to choose to be a part of a union. But to put this in the constitution is wrong. Also, Unions are only as strong as their weakest members. If their members are strong, so is the union, and part of that is being representative of their fellow members. This change should happen from within.

The first bad experience left be stranded for 7 days while all of their phone lines were locked up (snow storm). No apology, no remorse, to plan to handle a bigger snowstorm from a support standpoint. 1. Being flat out lied to is not acceptable. 2. Flying stadby is always a risk, and I only try to do so for cases like this, where I was sick. 3. There were two flights that had seats that left before mine, they had multiple opportunities to fix the problem, yet the customer service reps chose to just ignore it. 4. Sending a Friday afternoon PR is what you do when you want to hide a story. I don't have an email from them that explains this new policy.

I think that is the big point of posting it... they just want to ignor it. Cheaper that way. Short term costs at least. Letting Ascent and Summit fly standby is the perfect way to handle the situation.
