In the 'Time' CD - a picture of the band is displayed as if you're rehearsing in a house somewhere with a fireplace, sofas, etc.(Looks sort of like it could be a log cabin) This looks just like the picture on Pearl Jam's Vs. cd with the band rehearsing in a living room type place. They also recorded at Southern Tracks a few times. Is it the same place?

My wife and I also don't pay for cable. We've paid off both cars and really only use 1 car during the week since we carpool to work - saves on gas. We never use credit cards unless I travel - which I'm reimbursed for. We've gotten rid of over $16,000 in debt in 1 year since we've been married! Feels good not having bills in the mail!

Mexican Food - the kind where you order two burritos and when they come they are covered in that dark red sauce and melted cheese.

Subway - subway is awesome. The foot long honey oat sweet onion chicken teriyaki with chipotle sauce rules.

Cookies from Subway - I could eat them all day long.

White Cheddar Popcorn - the kind that comes in a black bag in the potato chip aisle. Very addictive.

Movie Theater Popcorn - I have to get some everytime I go to a movie.

These may not be 'meals' exactly, but they are some of my favorite foods!

Or better yet, when their is a right turning lane. You're in the lane to go straight, but you decide to take another route and get in the right-turn lane because the right-turn green arrow light came on for that lane. But you have to wait for others to go first. So you finally get your chance and the green arrow turns red!!

I still can't believe that he left. I'm seeing them tomorrow night so it will be interesting to see what it's like without him. I'm sure it'll still rock as always - just a little less without those faces he made.

Yeah, Mark seemed pretty concentrated the whole night and focused. The band still sounded great and their new material is awesome and I mean really awesome! I was surprised at how much it still rocked with Brad not there. The stage is setup differently now - Mark is where Brad was, Tai is where Mark used to be. This sounds weird, but probably one of the best Third Day shows I've seen - very energetic - they brought the rock.

So basically you hook it to your tv, it picks up your wireless internet, and you can rent movies straight off iTunes or watch movies from your computer that are in iTunes? That's awesome!

I need to lose some weight too. Getting a spare tire. If your work as a water cooler - drink lots of water during the day. I once lost 5-10 pounds just by drinking a lot of water during work using my Nalgene.

Good question - and I was wondering if anybody else ever got to this point as well during the work day. This is what I do each morning...

1. Open up Firefox
2. Open up Outlook (let my feeds come in)
3. Check Gmail in Firefox
4. Check my feeds in Outlook
5. Check my work email in Outlook
6. Answer any work email
7. Check my favorite sites
8. Work until down-time

When a slow point comes in the day - I usually check on things with our server, etc (most of the time I'm doing database work or website work). After that I'll check my fav sites again, look at the news, use the bathroom, eat some yogurt, then I'm usually bored after looking at everything. Then, I get into this mode of - what interests me or what can I learn today about something i had no idea about. Wikipedia is great for this. Or I'll look up some cool tech gadgets or gear and read reviews on it. This morning was the Nike+ Armband and a Nike+ Sensor pouch for my non Nike+ shoes.

Just a side note - yes I actually do work at work! Most of the steps shown above occur between doing things, and it's actually pretty busy most of the time around here.

I got rid of cable for almost a year in order to help save up for my wife's engagement ring/wedding band and paid in cash - and they weren't cheap either. Anything to help save a few bucks a month. I also quit eating out for the most part and never used credit cards - still refuse to use credit cards.

I was just thinking about this. I was also a senior at GSU and it was a blue-sky sunny day. I had just finished up a class and was on the way to eat lunch at Pizza Inn with a friend. The college building had tv monitors in the hallways and I remember looking up and seeing the Pentagon in flames. I had no idea about the WTC yet. We went to lunch and sat by a big screen tv and watched everything happen. I just remember thinking - is this really happening?

Man, I had some of those too. Except the kind that cover your foot (clogs I think?) They did hurt! I tried to break them in by wearing them all the time, by the end of the day I was slinging them off my feet because they hurt so bad. One of the things I do regret buying.

Man, every single day I hear things like that. We launch these online forms that pretty much go from August - February. Each person (over 600 total) has to fill out about 10-15 forms - and I'm the only IT person!

One gentleman tried to print his form, but his form wasn't printing. Turned out that he never had a printer!

Imagine the things I hear....

-Go get a Roast
-Wash it off, put it in the crock pot.
-Add 1 can of Cream of Mushroom, fill the empty can up with water and pour it on top of the roast/cream of mushroom.
-Add some 'baby carrots' and sliced little round potatos (the kind with the reddish skin).
-Cook on 'Warm' while your at work for 8 hours. Come home to a house that smells awesome and the food tastes just as good - plenty of leftovers too!

Oh yeah, also add 1 package of onion soup mix (comes what looks like a one of those little kool-aid pack )- it should be in the soup aisle - or you can probably ask someone at the store and they will know.
