However, I just attended a conference where I was speaking on beginning blogging and had many people come up to me who felt they "knew" me via my blogs. The important thing for me was not that they knew me, but that I had helped them by sharing information and making it accessible to them. What they were telling me is that they couldn't have done it without my help. I think that points to trust and respect and that's worth everything to me. When I set my goals for blogging and business, the bottom line is always helping someone find the answers they need.

BTW: Did you just love Katja? She's a friend of mine and I have to point out that she's a rock star--personally and professionally. ;)

Re: Gimme Mo, Gimme Wii

I love Antonio Melani shoes. Hearing your voice made me miss you, though. Which, I know, is a little weird for you. Try not to think about it too much. ;)

Whatever you made that video for, I hope you get it. I'd hire you in a second.

Re: 5 Ways To Step Outside The MommyBlogger Box

Excellent article! Shopping online is great for me b/c I can comparison shop and apply discount codes.

I also use a budget. We used to just charge everything and then pay it off at the end of the month--no matter what the surprise. Having a budget for each part of the family (extended and immediate) makes a difference b/c I know how much I've spent and on whom.

Shopping with cash has helped in the past (but this year we're mostly doing things online). Once the cash envelope is empty, you're done.

Melanie Nelson’s last blog post..Mighty Helpful Links: More SEO

Re: Friend Disclaimer

You roll like me. I don't like the phone and e-mail's the best way to get in touch. We may not talk every day, but that doesn't mean I'm not thinking of you.

In other words, I'll take you, if you'll take me. And we'll get together whenever.
