in Liberal Watchdog Challenges Anti-McCain Media Bias on The Washington Independent
Media bias toward Obama? What a laugh!! If anything, the media seems to be overcompensating for what a lot of people saw as excessive adulation for Obama.

They keep giving this nincompoop a pass, when he commits gaffes and tells outrageous lies. It is obvious that a lot of people failed to learn the right lessons from 8 years of George W. Bush. I have always heard that insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result. THAT IS WHAT WE WILL GET IF THIS MAN BECOMES PRESIDENT!!

in Going Negative on The Washington Independent
This negativity says a whole lot more about John McCain than it could ever say about Barack Obama. Negative and untruthful ads are the last resort of a politician who has nothing to offer--in other words, he is the "empty suit" that people like to call Obama. His numerous gaffes, and now his ads that are filled with lies and innuendo, should serve as a warning to anyone foolish enough to think he is presidential material. If he is doing these things now, before even being elected as president, just think how much more serious it would be if he DID win the White House!! And it is utterly indefensible that members of the press continue to give him a pass on these gaffes and lies--they

should be of grave concern to anyone who wants positive leadership after 8 years.

His years as a POW, and his time in the Senate, are not necessarily qualifications for the presidency. I am glad he came back alive, as I am for anyone who does, and I respect his military and senatorial service. But he is showing all the reasons why he should never occupy the White House: his

temper, his lack of computer skills (which should be a requisite for the position), his willingness to lie when it suits him, his forgetfulness of important information; and his denial of things he has said when he is on public record as saying them--both in writing and in person.

He was on the receiving end of negativity in 2000, when the Bush campaign spread that lie about his daughter that her mother was a black prostitute.

At that time, everyone--including me--sympathized with him. As Bush has

proven since then, that tactic is indicative of a person's character.

So, McCain is showing himself to be equally dishonorable and dishonest,

which undermines his fitness for the presidency.
