Good Luck in NH!
I hope your guy does well. At the very least I hope that crazy FairTax guy does badly.

Me? No... I'm only mean to liberterians, not children.

But I remain unconvinced. Sorry :-) Government good, liberty bad...

Isn't it possible the richer countries actually pay their diplomat's tickets, and thus just hide the shame better?

I agree about the need for a few years of track record. But a lot of funds will also have to die out in the process. I suspect at least some of these Claymore funds will be in that group.

It's funny you should mention Yadin in this context. Maklef, who replaced him, was, if i am not mistaken, 33 years old. and he too resigned after a year.
when you resign you shock the system. But that this is always a good thing, I seriously doubt.

No No Rogel, don't turn this into a feminist fight! I would have exactly the same criticism of a man who posted about his proven "quality" and being 3 standard deviations over the average IQ and so on.
It doesn't take an IQ of 145, nor a BA, to know that it's not nice to brag. If she wanted to tell people to stop hitting on her via Email, she could have done that differently.

I have to say, even assuming she has the quality to back up every item on that list, she still is a bit too arrogant.
P.S: oh no, just read the part where she likes science fiction. I take it all back. :-)

Interesting.
But they have a serious terminology problem: Tax cuts, like the repeal of the so called death tax, don't actually save money... They only increase the deficit.
In order to save money one needs to cut expenditure.

I worked for Mercury for almost 3 years. It is not an Israeli company. It barely has any traces of a distant Israeli origin. It is perhaps 15% owned by Israelis, and most of them are not residents of Israel anyway.
In short, one american company buys another (overpriced and scandal-ridden) american company. So what.

Another reason why you will never support public education is, I daresay, that you can afford the alternative. But what about those who cannot?

We certainly won't be the first liberterian vs. social democrat to disagree on things like progressive taxation.
I like Richardson for the nomination BTW. Something about southern gov'nors...

In fact B. Richardson's comments should be viewed in light of his presidential hopes.
They still are the party of redistribution, as well they should be.
