My favorite are the ones that have a static image that was clearly cropped out of a google maps screenshot. Yes, the people within a 2 block radius know where your store is, but like I have a clue where those roads are.

Why are we still calling it "full screen"? Is that a full 16:9 screen, or a full 4:3 screen?

The developer might want to change the price at a future time. So Apple has to encrypt it against just your account, so you can't take the free version now and then give it to everybody.

Though they should be able to DRM it without your password.

Yeah, I made the mistake of telling Pandora I liked Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Gary Hoey's "Carol of the Bells". It got the impression that I like Christmas music, not rock versions of Christmas music.

(Not as bad as when I told it I like William Shatner though)

I'm not a Facebook chat expert (I just disable it), but it runs in a web browser... Probably updates its status on a fixed interval (every 5 minutes or so).

And of course, there's always the possibility that he left the window open...

You should watch it on Hulu. The show's producers and actors work hard to make money on it, and they depend on advertising to get that money.

Hulu's an easy to use, legal alternative to bittorrent. Use it or lose it.

Would be slightly more practical if they had a normal looking tie with a little cheat sheet tag on the back that wasn't visible during normal operation of the tie.

I wonder how this will work with the people who try to stuck a habanero in the same bag as their jalapenos so they can get away with paying less for it. I mean, not that I would ever do such a thing, but I've heard of it. Would certainly be poetic justice if I, errr... somebody, got charged for the more expensive item at the entire weight.

I remember going through that star trek timeline saying "oh yeah, I remember that episode" and "but wait, they didn't cover the part where... oh I see, the alternate history is shown over there."

And yes, the TNG ride was amazing. Borg crap, not so much.

I hope they find a new place to bring this back (though I think the script for the TNG one specifically mentioned the Hilton, so they'd have to bring Jonathan Frakes out of cryo-stasis to re-film it).

I'm not sure I follow your reasoning here. They've only pulled the movies from the xBox, but you're wondering why they didn't pull them (from the xBox) back when the xBox couldn't play ANY Netflix content? Maybe they did

Did I miss some reasonable way to do this? They have a "no surcharge" filter, but that only shows ATMs with no surcharge for anybody (does such a thing even exist?). Doesn't know which bank I use.

I'm a chase customer and use their app. Works better than this one IMHO.
