Thanks for the post you bring up a good point, I'll pass it on to the team.

As to what Email Provider we use, HubSpot of course! :)

Our marketing team sends all their emails from our new Email Product which will be rolling out to customers really soon. If you want to use it now you can signup to the beta group. It is totally amazing IMHO and will blow your minds when you use it.

David

Re: I'm starting a company

Cool sounds in the same world as Performable was. I had a blackberry with them before the 1st gen iphone came out, I briefly ran an unlocked iphone on their network before switching to AT&T. Worst mistake ever.

I never had an problems with T-mobile's service, they can't compare to Verizon's coverage or speed but were better than AT&T, even in the 1st gen iphone days were their coverage was much better than it is today.

I'm currently on Verizon with an HTC Incredible. I think the phone is ...fine... but the network is great. I would love to switch to the Nexus S if it proves to be as great as the specs say it is.

Re: You Are a Product - Blog - thoughts from the red planet

I'm not a businessman. The only repeatable patterns that I know of all lead to failure.

I don't see the contradiction. I am suggesting tools to add to your toolbelt. If you were building a house I'd advocate for using a hammer, but using a hammer doesn't mean you'll be successful at building a house.

Re: Data-Driven Startups

Good point, totally different for your business. It's
ok that it is painful at first, this is the GPS for your business, w/o it
you don't know if you wandering in circles. Startups are full of PAIN, get
used to it, brush it off and keep on smiling.

If your team finds this painful and gives up what are they going to do when
things really get hard?? Startups are rollercoasters, great highs and
crushing lows, updating Excel is a mild annoyance in the grand scheme of it
all. Hopefully you'll solve a real problem and make enough money to warrant
investing in automation.

;dc

Re: 8 Startup Lessons from Constant Contact

Hi,

If you follow the link to the original article you can see photos and access
the full audio feed of the event.

Cheers,
David

Re: One Page Web Sites: Are they for You?

Hi Ted,

I think it's a pretty good idea and have seen it done that way before.
