Hope to get off my ass and blog something on the matter shortly. Thanks for the numbers!

Re: Japengo - Shatti Al Qurum

We loved it, and loved the open kitchen where we could watch the cooks in action.

As a smoker, we also loved that there is at least a somewhat separate area so non smokers can avoid being directly next to us. They had no smoking signs on the tables in the non smoking section! That is such a step in the right direction.

Re: The Bollywood - Qurum Commercial Area

When I was pregnant with the princess, I couldn't stand meat, seafood, chicken, anything that used to breathe. however, I craved spicy food. I ate lunch there every single day.

THe waitstaff are totally useless at interpreting the menu unless you are a hindi speaking indian vegitarian but there are some real gems. They make these pancake thingies with spinach and cheese that are amazing.

Pregnant ladies, if you want something really, really, really spicy they can hook a girl up. The all you can eat lunch buffet is not to be missed.

Nice review guys. Well done.

Re: Silk Route – Sohar

Good review! I think the lettuce stuff at the beginning is a sort of Kimchi, which is a korean specialty. It's pickled cabbaige with other stuff. My dad is addicted to it.
