in The Hidden Costs of Cloud Shoveling on Billionaire Woman
I definitely like the idea of making our goals clear and specific. Taking concrete actions is better than spending too much time sitting around and not getting started. A 50-page report looks great on paper but has not much use if no action is being taken. Great post!

Thanks Evelyn. I agree, it's easy to twiddle our thumbs thinking we're making progress, when we're not doing the stuff that matters. :)

Your daughter is so cute!! Yes, kids sure have a way of making experiences fun! It's amazing the things and ideas they can come up with. I'm also glad that you and your family are going out more. I remember a time when my kids were young and stepping out of the home meant having to do some logistics planning. We also needed to ensure that the place we were going to was baby-friendly!

I missed the double rainbow....sob sob! I know my kids and I would have been so excited to see two in the sky at the same time. Thanks for sharing about the beautiful phenomena on your site.

My friend was the one who saw the dual rainbows and caught it on camera! I only got to see one. But it sure looked really enormous! In fact, I clearly saw one end of the rainbow. Which sorta faded into the clouds. :)

Hmm...you've presented the idea of matching vibrational frequency to our desires in a very interesting manner. I seldom drink alcohol anymore, even if I am on a social outing. I may sound boring but intuitively, I feel that it is not for me. I don't take to drinks very well and my mind gets clouded. I don't enjoy that.

Since everything is a vibrational frequency, it makes sense that whatever frequency you are connecting to will become dominant in your reality.
You say: " I seldom drink alcohol anymore" and I say :"I only drink alcohol every once in a great while.". We are both saying the same-thing in different words. I don't usually drink on social outings either, but in that partially moment, I decided to make that choice. Everything is about choice and nothing more. I could have chosen to not feel the effects of the alochol. When I was a heavy drinker so many years ago, sometimes I would drink all night and not even feel a buzz, although at that time I didn't realize it was because of the state of mind I was in while drinking.
Everything 'outside' ourselves is only part of ourselves. It's about which part of ourselves we choose to experience. I see alcohol has it's place too in the perfection of this world, otherwise it would not be here as a choice. Writings like Edger Alan Poe would have not caused him to reach a state of consciousness to write such wonderful poems, etc.. It's all to do with how people believe such things should effect them. For Poe, he believed it gave him a deeper understanding and from that he wrote about his experience.

in 5 Ways Bargaining Made Me a Better Spender on Billionaire Woman
Even though I come from Asia, I am not that much of a bargainer. Did you make a stop at Singapore? Singapore is probably the most modern city in this region. Prices are more or less fixed here. However, I know how it feels like to be in China, Thailand or Indonesia. The mark up can be extremely high. Most certainly, skill is required. It also helps if you speak the language. Building that connection may just get you a bigger discount!

Nathalie Lussier
Yes, I loved Singapore! We didn't do much bargaining there, mainly because we only bought Durians there. (We spent more on durians than on travel within the city, hehe!)
I think the language barrier is definitely part of the tough thing about bargaining. I noticed that in China, if you speak the same dialect as the seller they tend to be much friendlier. (This may or may not mean a bigger discount, but it never hurts.)

Hope yours will be outstanding too! Do send one copy to me when ya got it done! :D

in Preparing to Believe in Yourself: The Science of Ditchiness on The Thinkmaya Blog
I used to blame others or external events that put me in my ditches and then one fine day, I realized that I was solely responsible for digging them myself. If I got in there, I had to find a way out.
Nowadays, I don't hang around in my ditches for too long. Life is too short! I find it more fun to be outside!
I like the idea of being prepared for ditches. Having the right tools and equipment will definitely come in handy! Thanks for the tip!

I like how you define wealth so broadly here. Indeed, abundance is more than just material wealth alone. There is more to life than just stacks of cash!! Money can definitely not buy happiness, freedom and love. Yet many of us are blinded to believe that money can solve everything!

Absolutely! I think you and I are on the page when it comes to wealth and abundance. I love your take on the law of attraction, by the way. I think money is just part of the abundance and wealth equation. :)

in Integrity, Values and Happiness on The Thinkmaya Blog
You've posed very tough questions here. I think that the Captain has integrity because he kept to his word. He sent the lady back to rescue the lover. As for the lady, I think she is just being realistic about her choices. Is it a matter of integrity by betraying the love from her lover? I don't know. As for the lover, I wouldn't classify him as having no integrity either. I think he just does not love the lady very much.

Thanks for the link love!!
Thanks too for sharing about the festival of lights. It is always great to find out more about other cultures. In Singapore, from where I come from, we are often taught about the importance of racial harmony. We learn much about appreciating the differences in each race, color and religion. Harmony is important for a country (and therefore the world) to thrive.

How true! We often forget that little things can make us happy too. We tend to want to wait for the big ones in order to feel good. That is really living in the future. We lose sight in the Now!

You are so lucky to be able to spend four glorious months traveling! Wish I can do that too! With my kids and all, I doubt that I have as much freedom as before. I've been to China but only to Beijing, Shanghai and Suzhou. China definitely has plenty to see. I hope to return some day to cover more areas. I'm from Singapore, by the way, in South East Asia.
