It seems a case of the left (or the rightleft) attacking the left. Surely the problem is that there are not enough free academic texts online yet. Ann Coulter talks crap but people still read her stuff and buy her books because she looks quite good.

You're actually quite attractive but a little on the heavy side.

Sorry to be politically incorrect, but fat unattractive women are not really taken very seriously here or anywhere else.

Why not join a yoga class or Marie France slimming course ? You'll be wasting your talents if nobody pays any attention to you because you are fat.

This is my honest opinion.

Re: Yoga, Chakras, One-ness With ‘God’

Yes, I agree what you say about yoga. Judeo-Christian faiths prohibits anyone to become God, as everything is created by God. This is why some say Judeo-Christian faiths are considered "undemocratic" (for lack of a proper word) - as no one can become God or like God, no matter how hard they try.

Other religions, on the other hand, do have disciplines to assist human beings to become like God. All disciplines adopted under the "new age" genre do encourage this aspiration in their followers.

I've had a few friends who flirted with yoga and other new age disciplines and philosophy, and it actually brought them further away from God. It is my opinion that these disciplines are subtle but dangerous.

Nonetheless, I believe people should be educated about this and not be legally prohibited from doing what they want.

My 2 cents.

Re: Academics vs. Wikipedia

An interesting article and interesting that some academics are attacking the Wikopedia.
