Cela dépend comment on mesure... quand on y pense, on a vite 30minutes de porno sans beaucoup de requêtes, non? Le montant de requêtes qu'il faut par jour pour "faire du social web" à la Facebook/Netlog va vite surpasser ça.

So I was a bit optimistic, indeed. But was it possible? I guess so. The guy in Judo got "stolen" a medal when an overenthusiastic judge overruled the corner judge (who has a better view and is therefore never overruled...), a bit like your tae-kwondo boy who got stolen from a medal (ànd that girl who only had ten minutes). So that would have been a third medal already. And fourth place don't give us a medal, but are close enough to make me believe that on another day it might have been possible.

For the rest, I can agree with you on most of the points you make. I have represented Belgium in swimming when I was a lot younger, and I know what you mean when you say that there's no sports mentality here.
One little remark though, the people who do take sport serious, are vèry serious. Something you hardly find in football, unfortunately. And the little football talent we have in this sport is mostly developed in other countries...
I am looking forward to the London games for both team GB (my partner is Brit) and team Belgium, as I hope to be living in London by then.

Nonetheless, they are damn good speakers. I didn't have internet connection back then as I had just moved... didn't buy from guys in a white van. These speakers have done a great job at parties & all! I'm really surprised now to hear that it was a scam as I always had the impression that they were worth the money (especially as I got a good reduction...)
I did get a discount at the shop I bought them from... and nothing like the 400€ people bought them for from the men in the white van. They do look like the scam speakers though. Maybe the guy in the shop had been scammed and wanted (part of) his money back.

Now that I know this, I'll bring them to the tip 2moro ;-)

I don't think this fits in the license I use. Unless you can show me that you are a non-profit organisation, using this for a good cause, I'm afraid I cannot let you use this picture.
There are many good photographers out there who make a living out of photography. With these practices, you are leaving these people unemployed in order to grow your margins.
People should get paid for a good job done. If your job is to find content without rewarding the content providers, remember that one day it might be your job the publishers are after.

I buggered up, and am asking for help on compiling. I managed to test on my machine with removing the libgnutls and got into trouble.
I have already re-compiled without any success. I'll keep you posted.

Temporary option might be to make a link for whereever you installed the libgnutls /opt/local to /usr/local (lib and bin directories?).

I seem surprised as it was especially compiled for Tiger on a Tiger machine. It does depend on some libs (wx-Mac, gnutls), and I had to compile those libs, but they are hard-linked into Filezilla, so you shouldn't have any issues.
Could you open up a terminal and do the following:

cd /Applications/FileZilla.app/Contents/MacOS/
./filezilla

What output do you get?

schmap is a free service... i have less problems with them and have already submitted a picture there. In this case, they are making money with one of my illustrations, nonetheless they cannot pay for it.
I'm getting the impression that they are looking for a way to increase their margin in a dodgy way. I feel inclined to say no.

I had a look at the "hidden options", one of these options is to prevent the queuing of songs as long as the iPod is connected.
The reason for that is, that it sometimes takes ages to submit all played songs on an iPod, and if you play songs in the mean time, the "not yet submitted" songs from the iPod will be refused by last.fm
last.fm refuses submissions of (e.g.) yesterday if you have already submitted a song for today...
