in What are the tech bloggers missing? Your business! on Scobleizer
Certainly not me, I'm too busy trying to figure it out for the urban folks. I'm sure someone is trying though because there's so many "SEO experts" out there(read their twitter bio)...You let me know so I can point my clients to them.

in A Crash Course in Comments on Chris Brogan
I love having conversations, so I tried to make my blogging style as conversational as possible. Unfortunately I switched from Drupal to Wordpress and lost most of my lengthy posts. Funny enough though, I have more comments now than before. I couldn't pin it down until you mentioned brevity. Now my posts consists of more Video AND less words that interests one to join in the discussion. Thanks Chris for highlighting that for me!

What about a spontaneous filming that happens to have music playing in the background? http://myphillynetwork.com/archives/514

Thomas Unfortuantely they are already muting videos of this type as well. I have had that happen to one of mine. Their "dispute process" is a sham. No one I have talked to has ever had the decision reversed. The type of video you are talking about clearly falls under fair use and the courts have even ruled as such. But the only to get your video unmuted is to change the audio to one of their "pre-licensed" tracks or record your self singing the song that never ends or some crap.

in Smartphone competition: It’s too late for Nokia and Microsoft, but not too late for Palm in USA on Scobleizer
It is about the software and even though Nokia makes some of the most beautiful IU's with symbian, it's just not enough to compete with multi-touch and virtual keyboards that "click" when pressed. Microsoft will always have a US market because it's easy to connect the mobile brand with the PC brand, their "fumes" will keep them going for a while....

Tough Crowd... How was it when we went from telegraph to telephone? Any new tech will get buzz untill over saturation happens. I think we have a ways to go. Only us, the early adapters are annoyed right now...

Hogwash! Authority should be weighed by key words and interactions, not followers. Having a 140 convo about tech often should up your "Authority" on the search word tech...

mfruchter First and foremost thank you for taking the time to comment via video. I agree with you 100%, not to leave all your eggs in one basket, and to always be on the lookout for new avenues of engagement. It's all about crawling before we walk. I'm stuck on that line, (I cant help it :) Seriously though, thanks for the thoughtful comment.

Thanks again,

I hope you and your family have a healthy and happy holidays.

in A Troubled Marriage: Journalism and Blogging on Black Web 2.0
I agree w/the above. It's like a throwback to when anyone could make a local newspaper or newsletter and tailor it to their region. That's how the locals stayed up to date on everything and it's how people were organized for a cause. There's nothing new under the sun. It seems some need a history lesson...
