in Do You Think Minimalist Is Best? on Ian May
I'm a feed reader, but I do like minimalist content for certain blog genres.

Eyebee Thanks for your input, Heather. Generally speaking, a feed reader, such as yourself, doesn't care too much about the actual format of the blog, but still, for those that do come directly, I am still very much of the view that content is king, which, to my way of thinking is mostly words, with some images, and perhaps a little video. Basically, I'm not much of an eye candy person.

I think I heard Canaan, a gal who joined the last meetup was talking about this group. She sounded like she had had a good time.

You make some excellent points. I do feel it is important to stress that if you can't bother to figure out our names* then we won't be bothered to read your release.

*At our site it is exceptionally easy each post prominently displays them.

in How Many Loads Can Yours Take? (7/17/2008) on What James Knows
Found you via FriendFeed... It's not so much that every conversation becomes boring, but that suddenly you find yourself occasionally having those boring conversations. There comes a point when it matters. (Of course, there are those who have big enough budgets where the pennies don't matter).
I find my life goes in phases. Occasionally I can look around and care about the big picture, but then a period arrives where all the energy I have is focused on the smaller aspects of my life. It's seasonal.

in Smell The Coffee on The Eye
I'm a "maybe if I'm going to be at the coffee shop anyway" kind of person. Occasionally (very occasionally) I'll have an hour to kill and I'll use the wi-fi at Atlanta Bread Company.

Really though, I'm paying for the quiet, comfortable environment and mediocre coffee.

I'll go and fix the post. Sorry about that; PG-13 is where I keep it with no warning. I don't want you censoring yourself. I just note a post with cursing so people don't get angry at ME. I just prefer to keep my butt covered. I'm sure you understand that. It's funny how you can go along for a while doing your own thing and the second you break from your general routine is when you get noticed.

Again, last night was fun, I hope you can join us again.

You won't regret it. I just got back from the produce stand as the baby-to-be is demanding tomato pie.
