in Write List Post To Attract Readers And Make Money Online on Work From Home Business Blog
Very good tips, Peter! I have noticed that people appreciate list posts.By getting right to the point and keeping it short by presenting the benefits is working.People are so busy these days that they just don´t have the time to read long posts.

in Google Suggests You Click on More Ads on Marketing Pilgrim
Yep, I agree it is a smart move from Google. Is it pulling up these sponsored links from Adwords or how is it working? I rarely login to my Google account so I will not see those ads.

in 4 Bloggers’ Interview:If I Could Start My Blog All Over… on Work From Home Business Blog
Hi Peter, very good idea for a post.I´m a PIPS member as well and in 2006 when I started I followed all the tips in the 30 days book and now when I look back, there was lots of things I could have done better, for instance getting a Wordpress blog right from the start instead of a blogger blog.I would also have saved a lot of money by concentrating on article marketing instead of PPC.

Another thing I sort of regret is that I chose the "online marketing niche" for my blog, I realized later it was too crowded but it was too late to do anything about it because I had worked a lot of to write posts. So, if I would start all over today I would do proper niche research, getting a wordpress blog and a domain name with my best keyword in it.

in Google Stumbles but Refuses to Fall on Marketing Pilgrim
I think it is loyalty as well. There are ad networks paying more than Google Adwords but if you change to one of them, do you think you would rank as good as you do in Google at the moment with some other companys ads on your site?

in Work At Home Blog Income Report-March 2009 on Work From Home Business Blog
Peter, I see you are using CBProAds instead of Google Adsense. Are you getting paid per click or do you get a percentage of the sale of a product?

-Tom

peterlee @ Tom Lindstrom: Tom, CBProAds is pay per sale (not pay per click). If someone joins the affiliate program through my affiliate link, I get 50% of his joining fees ranging from $19 - $99 depending on his choice of membership period, min 3 mths. If it's just a sale I get the normal sale commission from Clickbank. Here is the post that you can read more:

in How to Get More Mileage From Your Emails on The Michel Fortin Blog
Excellent post! If someone is looking to make money from emails then they have to give away truly useful information and build trust over time.So many people make the mistake of spamming their subscribers with only marketing pitches and this leads to a lot of un-subscriptions and the marketer gets a bad reputation.

If you can write good content online, you will make money. All you need to do is put some adsense on it and there you go! However, to make a steady full-time income you will need to do this for a long time and keep doing it every day.

Nice video! Social media is soon going to be less "fun" because large corporations have found it and this means it is going to be one huge commercial, instead of sharing useful information with other members.

in 10 Blogging Mistakes to Avoid on Work From Home Business Blog
Excellent article! I have seen a lot of blogs and most of them are over advertising in some way. This makes the reader confused and leave quickly. It makes more sense to promote 1 excellent affiliate program and build an income in it before moving on to the next.If you promote 10, you will not be able to promote them efficiently.

When it comes to ignoring readers, many bloggers completely forget to reply to comments left on their blogs and this is a big mistake.

Salwa Tom,

You are absolutely right. For example, the use of flash. I always say never use flash and animation unless it’s necessary. It can be distracting and usually slows down your site.

Advertising one, or two affliate program would probably make you more money than having dozen of them crummed up at one place only because as how you put it "you won't promote them efficiently" and of course ignoring your readers comment especially when they ask you question is a big no no or even a little appreciation of saying "thank you" for taking their time leaving a comment on your blog.

Thanks for your input!

in Skittles Social Media Campaign Increases Traffic 1332% in One Day on Marketing Pilgrim
All traffic is welcome, there is never enough of it.However, I do prefer highly targeted traffic if possible. The problem with the traffic from social media sites (especially stumbleupon and digg) is that the traffic does not convert into sales.I would also like to know how much skittles sales increased.

To get your Adwords campaign done right the first time so you will earn more than you are spending is difficult for newbies.Personally, I have never paid for traffic but it has taken me a few years to get to the point where I am now. This way the traffic continues to come in, paid traffic stops the very second you stop paying.
