Q: What's the hardest thing for people to do with their investments right now? A: Nothing. Psychologically, that really hurts. I suggest if you're feeling the need to do something -- anything -- you should increase your contribution just a bit. (I did, and I feel better.)

For next week, wouldn't it be fun to make up new arbitrary and annoying slang words & see if you can get them to catch on? I've always thought "deglaze" should be used metaphorically in meetings. And "they killed Kenny" should be used to mean "they acted predictably." Etc.

One of my favorite editor bosses used to call those "happy-to-glad changes." You want to say "we're glad to announce" instead of "we're happy to announce"? Fine, no argument. Client feels like they've added value, writer is satisfied the point is made effectively.
