To be intellectually honest, you might want to add that WilliamAyers' relationship with Obama is of more recent vintage, and that the former wrote an interesting NYT editorial in 2001, 9/11 of that year to be precise.

Spencer Ackerman: why weren't you previously aware of this issue? Can you figure out the ways your headline is wrong and childish?

What reflex was involved in posting this? No, really: what was your thought process? And, was it anything beyond "Tancredo bad man"?

Do you think posts like this help or harm your reputation?

Those who want to learn about some of the many other things Ackerman isn't aware of might start at the following report. It doesn't deal with Iraq, just the things here at home people like Ackerman aren't aware of or wouldn't like to discuss:

It appears that the quotes above were taken out of context. And, it's also a logical fallacy to compare today's immigration to that which occured in the past: the conditions have changed.

in Fox’s “Border War” Report Draws Fire from Immigrant Advocates on The Minnesota Independent
This is probably difficult for you, but... By her own admission, Espejel doesn't respect our laws and thinks the U.S. has no right to enforce its borders. She doesn't support U.S. sovereignty. If she doesn't support that, shouldn't she move to another country? If she took actions regarding her beliefs, what would her legal status be?

As for treating "immigrants" like criminals, those are not "immigrants", they are illegal aliens (the term used in the U.S. Code). They committed a crime by entering the U.S. illegally, and they no doubt committed other crimes afterwards (identity theft for instance) or led to others committing crimes afterwards (hiring someone who's here illegally).
