I dread the day they come up with a feature like myspace bulletins. or have they already? kids are selling their services to send a bulleting to X 1000 people with whatever message you want = spam.

i check my FB a few times a day but i dont really waste heaps of time on it. its like an extension of checking personal email - seeing if there is anything exciting going on in my personal life. there was that case of that dude who got busted spending 4hrs a day on FB while at work ... nevertheless i dont think it should be banned. these analyses of "facebook costs business X million USD per year" are pointless

i love facebook, spend hours a day on it and its the first network ive ever joined (im a 29yr old developer). i have yet to see some real value apps and dont see how Opensocial will make it easier to make them.

I think SocialAds is a much more important move. If those ads are really more targetted, Id imagine alot of people dropping adsense for SocialAds. This has far greater value than vampires & pirates and getting sheep thrown at you.

about 10 days ago an article appeared in a british tabloid about student from a posh school in the uk having set up a "dogging" group (dogging = having sex in public parking lots) as a JOKE. the school kicked out 2 students over it and the group was shut down by FB. AFAIK it doesnt exist anymore. some kid made a fake profile in the name of the headmaster of the school in question, that got shut down in a matter of days too. so i wonder if FB is chatting to this headmaster and doing whatever he asks? no laws were ever broken ... info here. this amounts to censorship and lack of a GSOH - not cool!
