Sadly it's a matter of a chip now in the cable, and a different form, I originally thought it was simply not a valid cable in the audio spot, but the new cable which tows 480p connects to the bottom vs. thru the headphones jack.

the name of the game is distraction :) thats more or less what the class would end up being I'd imagine, still up in the air though, for now though a year end of projects must be completed ;)

Cheap maybe, but finding a good store to purchase it from without being sold the farm and waiting 3 years, thats another story - time and finances will tell I'd imagine... all in due time.

Considered... yes - had it actually work at any level of speed/performance next to windows? No.

My Laptop does great with games, but I want a nice games/media rig, and was tired of re-compiling linux kernels to get my cheap-o-tv card working.

Yeah - I got a spare BIOS from a friend - swaped it out and got it working again.

your telling me! i have a few options - granting my check comes in soon, I may pay off the last bit on one of my credit cards with the check and make just enough room for the iBook and once thats on there pay off some more, its got 0% apr till april. So if I push it, could get myself a intrest free iBook ;)

lots of stuff, but pretty dull in showing me GUI examples, etc. I like to see what I am getting myself into ;)

Well the BT works fine inside buildings, I have decent range, just not so good outside or on the road, not entirely sure whats up. This model has had mixed reviews so I figured for under $100 why not. We shall see.

Oh its nothing to do with the quality of the audio, its the priority, it simply uses the main processor, so if your doing something the music can pause, etc.



I have the audio patch and it did clear up stuff off the bat, so definately no complaints at how the audio sounds, its crisp, clean and clear as it plays, but its just not a dedicated as the Clie which had the CPU just for MP3.

I was paced, to motor cops. I am still waiting for the final paper work to come in via mail, I hope and pray its not HORRIBLE ... if its not I think I will just pay it, because I dont wanna go through huge ordeal -- just want it over and done with, I have too much going on lately to spend months tied up in court disputing a $200 ticket and $20 in online Traffic School! ;-)

I may just take you up on that offer ;) The guy who owns the building I am in worked with me and we build a Dual PIII 500 with 512ECC RAM, nice system. All SCSI (all spare parts mind you) and its fast! May put it on there. Its a game server etc.

hahaha not going to use it all too often, its just 50 text messages free a month, I can get a 500 message pack for like $3 a month, but i doubt I would use that many.
