I've been reorganizing my Google Reader subscriptions, and your ideas were most helpful.

Thanks, also, for including my blog among your video game links. I'm grateful for your interest in my work.

Re: Thinking and reading in the wrong order

I think this phenomenon must be common among us "serious thinkers" because it happens to me fairly often too. Maybe it really means we're ahead of our time...but just running a little late. :-)

Re: Quick weekly recap

Hi Thorin. Thanks very much for linking to my piece on Fallout 3 (and for commenting on my site as well). You mention here that you're hoping for more on my students' reactions to the game, having played the previous Fallout titles. I actually posted on that a couple of weeks ago, and you can find that essay here: http://tinyurl.com/59qpk6. The short story is that my students enjoyed the game much more than they expected - which I guess is how I would characterize my own reaction too.

You've got a cool, informative blog here, and I'm glad you helped me discover it. Best of luck to you.

Re: Gaming Log – April 21st, 2008

I don't know how I missed the multiplayer mod for San Andreas, but I'm glad you pointed me to it. Wow. I agree it's one of the most impressive player-created mods I've ever seen. I've only dipped into it a bit, but enough to see the enormous open-ended role-playing opportunities that are possible. Thanks for the heads-up!

By the way, I was initially turned off by Burnout Paradise after a few hours of play, but now that I see what Criterion is doing with this game and where they're clearly taking it, I'm significantly more interested. As you say, the potential is unlimited.

Thanks, also, for the link to my RPG syllabus project. Much appreciated.

Re: [Lista] Os Blogs que eu Leio, parte II

Thank you very much for featuring my blog. I'm very happy to know you enjoy my work, and I hope I will continue to keep you interested. Sadly, I don't speak Portuguese, but I was able to translate via Google and read your kind remarks. Thanks again!
