Hi Thorin. Thanks very much for linking to my piece on Fallout 3 (and for commenting on my site as well). You mention here that you're hoping for more on my students' reactions to the game, having played the previous Fallout titles. The short story is that my students enjoyed the game much more than they expected - which I guess is how I would characterize my own reaction too.

I think this phenomenon must be common among us "serious thinkers" because it happens to me fairly often too. Maybe it really means we're ahead of our time...but just running a little late. :-)
