Or looked at another way, being included in someones public list could expose you to even more people and looking at other peoples lists could expose you to other great people to follow. But we're talking about exclusion. Should you be upset that not everyone that you follow follows you back? Same problem really, just a different format. All of this goes back to not being obsessed with the numbers. If I have done enough to peek your interest to put me on a list, God bless you and I thank you. If not, it's ok, I'll keep on keeping on. Get over the ego gratification, do what you do as best as you can and generally good things will follow.

Which is why a Google/Twitter combo would be mind blowing. Not saying that is ever going to happen but Google was obviously already thinking about this when they bought Jaiku but they failed. Twitter may yet someday get bought but if they pull this off the price will skyrocket.

Cheaper price and open architecture/software. I'm liking the Crunchpad so far and even as an Apple fan, I'm getting a little sick of Apple's control issues.

I doubt it. FB is a different beast. Fundamentally, FB is private. The quintessential walled garden. Twitter is fundamentally open, and not just in data access, but also in ways of accessing the data.

Google bought Jaiku. They bought the wrong company. That being said, I think your head might be a little too far in the fishbowl. Most people I meet outside the fishbowl have no idea what Twitter is. You're on the right track, but we're not quite there yet.

I've seen the HDRMax stuff before and I don't really like the hyper realism of the photos. It's just a bit too digital for me. I guess if you take it as a different form of development it's fine, but I wouldn't want to see all photos this way.

and that's the funny and somewhat scary thing. Republicans never really did like McCain. The had to because he was the nominee, but who they really liked was Sarah Palin. Just saying it makes me shudder. I truly hope the so-called "intellectual" republicans can regain control of the party and restore some sense of sanity.

You nailed it. I was driving during the speech, so interesting to hear your blog/twitter analysis. From a female point of view, my wife made me turn it off half way through, she couldn't take it. And she is not necessarily a lifelong democrat.
Since one day as governor gives you more "experience" than a senator, they also pretty much undercut McCains experience as well. Under their logic, any senator is pretty much worthless since they have no "executive" experience.
Please tell me most American women are smart enough to see through this charade. This isn't just a bad pick from McCain, I think it's reckless and completely irresponsible.
