He also co-wrote a musical with Arthur Janov called Scream based on Primal Scream it didn't go anywhere but Celine Dion recorded a song called "Colors of My Love" from the show starring the greatly missed Warren Wiebe.
Also he co-produced Streisand's Broadway albums.

He mentions in his book that he never thought he would work on a musical, but a few years after he left the sessions scene, he worked with art Janov, but that was still floundering. He also mentions that he was approached by Bill Haber at Foster's 58th birthday, to write a musical. He ended up writing 4 songs in one day (he had procrastinated and was down to the wire). He doesn't mention Betty Boop, but I'm guessing it was. Apparently the man wants to do everything. Perhaps he will try blogging next.

Quite a shame Bill Champlin never lived up to the success of Peter Cetera. Most of his future albums were released in Europe and Japan where they care about Westcoast (a.c.) music. He's so talented!

Not everyone liked Dan Fogelberg like not everyone cared about Pope John Paul II or Ronald Reagan. But he was still a great singer songwriter maybe not as good as the Eagles who cared about him.

The Cetera-Anka duet is from a long lost album called "Walk a Fine Line" one of Anka's most interesting efforts which also has soft rock gurus Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins and Richard Page and Steve George (what on earth ever happened to him?)

Yeah, I've tried to deep-Google Steve George a couple of times, but he has apparently vanished from the face of the earth.
I searched for "Walk a Fine Line" for years, and I finally bought a vinyl version a couple of years ago. I was really disappointed, though. Pretty standard fare, there's no sign of the David Foster "magic" I was half expecting after reading all kinds of glowing reviews on these various Westcoast pages that exist on the web.

Also Celine Dion and Warren Wiebe "Listen to Me" which was never officially released.
Kenny Loggins and Sheryl Crow "I Would Do Anything" (later a live duet with Shanice)
Foster also played on Michael McDonald and Patti La Belle's "On My Own"

No Christopher Cross never did a session with Foster. Don't forget in 1982 he also produced the cast album of Dreamgirls (badly) and worked on Dionne Warwick's "Friends in Love" which was produced by Christopher Cross' friend Jay Graydon

Wrong, Peter Allen was the original Boy From Oz and his songs were huge hits Down Under. The trouble was many of his songs contained references to the fact he was gay (or "teasing metaphors") Bi-Coastal was a successful album despite the confusion of the title ("Bi-Coastal"- Bi-Sexual get it?)
The song "Simon" was originally recorded by Liza Minnelli in the late 1960s so he was paying tribute to her but still denying the fact he was openly gay.
He tried a few more times but succumbed to AIDS before he could be a huge star

Yeah, I know, Udo Lindenberg is huge, too... in Germany. C'mon, Sara, Peter Allen sold a few records worldwide, sure, but the Bi-Coastal album, peaked at #123 on Billboard's pop charts - and it was his most successful album. Hardly a smashing success.
I think you're right about his double entendres, though: it probably didn't do him any favors on the charts.

David Foster is still going strong he just had an all star charity concert in Vegas with everyone from Peter Cetera to Boz Scaggs to Josh Groban.
Dann Huff is the guitarist on many Kenny Loggins and Amy Grant songs as well as Peter Cetera's Glory of Love.

I'm not sure if Shem Kenny Loggins' bass player and former music director is still playing with Ambrosia since he's taking an odd turn as an opera singer. He does a great version on the Highlights from the Galaxy concert of the Ambrosia song.

Kenny Loggins did record a Christmas album only to have one of his tunes
stolen by Michael McDonald ("On Christmas Morning") Of course both had earlier sung it on TV but Michael beats Kenny on that one. There's another Loggins christmas album that is basically songs from the earlier one plus songs written for three of his five kids.

When are you gonna cover more Kenny Loggins hits?
I'm Alright or Heart to Heart don't remember the weeks. There's been times in my life I've been wondering why... You said maybe it's over...

Keilani Goggins does sound like Kenny Loggins (Hawaiian drag queen or something) I read somewhere that Michael Jackson was inspired by West Side Story's first line "Beat It" for his song.

Since John Belushi was no more he had to do it. I would like to see a revival of WE ARE THE WORLD for Darfur or something like that.
Pretty sad about El DeBarge, hope he is found not guilty. Chico worked in the band with Bobby who was an AIDS victim.

According to most sources Debbie Allen performed Footloose at the Oscars. How come Kenny didn't get to perform it? Was it the same reason that Phil Collins didn't get to hear his song performed.

It's a shame people have treated Michael Bolton so badly. I just wanted to clarify if these really were bad they would peak under 100.

Peter Cetera "One Good Woman" has some odd lyrics
"I said you need a fortune teller/ Everybody needs a fortune teller". He looks like Donald Trump doesn't he?

I assume Michael wrote "Real Love" for Amy Holland whom he later married (when the heck is she gonna release her new album) Good song if you go on to Michael McDonald's website there is a clip of him peforming it solo.

FYI Bobby Caldwell did have more hits. He was sort of a Michael Bolton meets Frank Sinatra, in fact most of his recent albums have been made up of old standards. Another usless fact "Walk Like an Egyptian" was banned for airplay after 9/11

I don't know what led Richard Page and Steve George from disbanding the west coast favorite Pages to becoming Mr. Mister... Kyrie and Broken Wings aren't terrible they're CHEESY!
