in Will Apple sue PodTech.net? (My employer) on Scobleizer
Forget changing the name. Let's rain down jeers on the Apple Representative who accepts the Directory of the Year award at the Podcast Expo this coming Friday night.

Couldn't disagree more with the post. The concept of Blubrry is not for podcasters to drop a link and run. It's about bringing in quality podcasters who want to build something from the ground up.
As such they're not looking to pull in an OPML feed and call it a day. What would be the point of that? iTunes already rules as the king of directories.

in PodTech’s content and Web site challenges on Scobleizer
Geez. I didn't mean to start a whole post on your blog Robert.
I like to hear people reporting tech stuff in a more passionate way. When I listen to (or watch) podcasts I'm motivated by the host's motivation and the fact that the opinions are unfiltered. Otherwise I might as well be reading copy on the websites of the companies that are talking on PodTech.
As I said in my post I look forward to hearing (and seeing) what's new with PodTech when you start exerting your might influence on the efforts taking place there.

in Geek dinner continued on Marketing Begins At Home
David,
It was nice meeting you at the dinner. As an expectant father, you can be sure that I'll be subscribing to both blogs.

in further evidence that PR and control are a bad mix on Marketing Begins At Home
How ridiculous. It reminds me of an episode of the show Curb Your Enthusiasm where a newspaper really messes up an obituary. Just another example of why it pays to be detail oriented in the world of published media.
