in CPA Exam Myths Debunked: My Interview with the AICPA on CPA Exam Blog
Brendan - I believe that 18 month rule is related to the fact that all sections used to have to be taken in one sitting. Without some sort of a time limit people could study for a single section for an excessive amount of time (i.e. one full year to study for a single section). Without some sort of time limit the CPA exam becomes even less competitive and selective.

in How does allowing *** marriage have anything to do with education? on Weddings and Travel
It doesn't, Those are all lies just to get *** marriage banned..because their only real argument is "the bible"..and they know it wont work, because of separation of church and state...so they start making up fake reasons as to why *** marriage should be banned! It's truly sickening...The reason prop 8 was passed was because people actually believed what the people were saying about *** marriage.,,

in Musical Monday: Kiss Me by Sixpence None The Richer on Itisi
I had a feeling it was bug when I noticed; it seemed odd that 5 people would decide they didn't like me at the same time. I suppose that could happen, but as 2 of them are still following on the other Google thing, it probably wasn't that lol

The photo thing seems to be working this morning, I've noticed it can be a bit temperamental though.

Pete - I haven't stopped following you, honestly! I've lost 5 too, it's a glitch - you can read about it here http://knownissues.blogspot.com/2009/02/you-may...

Glad you liked it :-) It is a good video; I love the song, but hadn't seen that before.

Sharon: It wasn't so much clever as desperation - I couldn't think of a title and the programme was on at the time.

Debbie: Thank you! I've been having doubts, so it's nice to hear that from someone impartial.

Kim: It said on the weather forecast that there will be more, so hopefully you will get some.

It is funny isn't it - although, I'm still perplexed by quite how the 'little dance' fitted in. My mind is boggled.

LOL I think you are right, that is what has happened. Most schools are closed and my son is praying they won't reopen tomorrow. It's a possibility, we're in the country so a lot of the staff and kids won't be able to get in.

in Did you mean Google? on Itisi
Liam: It was the real Google search page for Valentine's Day 2007. For some reason no one noticed that the L in their themed logo was missing, or only visible if you turned your head and squinted.

Liam: I have the same problem with musicals. Impromptu song and dance routines have ruined many good films.

I was so disappointed when I found out *he* was playing von Stauffenberg, it could have been such a wonderful film, and really the man deserved to be portrayed by someone who can actually act.

in Is blogging a bit like being famous? on Itisi
Steg: I don't think you give out any really identifying info. I know roughly where you live, but I'd struggle to find your exact location if I was that way inclined.

"The number of people who actually "know" as opposed to "think they know" details can be counted on very few fingers."

It's best that way ;-)

lucyintheskywithdiamonds: That must have been a frightening experience! He sounds terrifying!

You are right, it is best to be careful about how much you give out. I'm always wary of sites that ask for my postcode and/or exact location because it would make it so easy for someone to find me. Saying that, most mapping sites plonk me in the middle of a field LOL Yes, stalkers, that's right, I live in a field in a house made of bales.
