take care out there Bill , we havent had any snow out this way yet ( hamilton) . But snow tires go on my car the first flake we get.

Ive skidded years ago into a curb while negotiating some ice
and the curb one.

Ive seen some wrecks in my 27yrs as a firefighter. Thank goodness there were no fatalitys

People need to adjust to road conditions .

I had my first opportunity to attend a CB session at Podcamp Toronto ,,
Walking into a standing room only classroom .. was already giving the room a buzz ,,,
Before beginning his session he actively encouraged people to leave and attend another presenters session ,, not many left ...
Chris was interactive , he kept the crowd entertained , he gave away books ,
he spoke very easily ... and kicking Microphone stands ,,
His discussion lead to many hands up in the air , he took questions readily .. but he asks for input ,,,
When the swearing started ... he had the room laughing ..
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience ,,

My Dad was in a hospital bed in his house
an d we had TV and DVD setup for his enjoyment

Ive never seen my Dad and Aunt laugh so hard
,even while my Dad was laying in a hospital bed

Some times its good to get the mind off the sad stuff
and laugh for a few moments

Spend the moments you Rob , because these moments
will be with you forever

Dont be afraid to cry ,go for drive
Let it all out , be strong my friend

Also write Mom a letter , say everything you want to say ,,
Let her read it , so she understands your love and your feelings

Watched a cool SYSTM video yesterday from Kevin Rose that explained the hardware and software for making a podcast.

They also did a behind the scenes with Leo Laporte
and showed the equipment that Leo uses to make a TWIT podcast .

Very interesting and useful to us novices
