Its great to see Google recognize that their users want a sync to a desktop platform and this is a very good start. The sync itself works quite well, many of the people at our office have given it a whirl to see how it all goes.

Unfortunately it does not let you sync multiple calendars or calendars that have been shared with you. You can only sync your default calendar. But hey if someone needs that thats where the 3rd party suppliers come in. We offer a product (Connect) that allows this and there are other companies out there who do this as well, all you have to do is search around a bit.

Hi,

Just so you know we at Calgoo also released our CalDAV support today. The documentation won’t be ready for a few days but you can still check it out.

We have been using the Google Calendar API since it was made
available. All in all the benefits of using Google API's are numerous
and hopefully these conferences will get other developers on the
Google band wagon - the more the merrier.

Short answer is yes we will.

We can not show too many of our cards right now, however as we continue to develop Calgoo Calendar I think you will be quite pleased with its direction.

You could always try combining various tools in order to create something that you find more useful. Google Calendar and 30 Boxes both offer API's and as a result we have created a sync solution that allows you to sync your online calendar with your offline calendar (our own product Calgoo Calendar, Outlook, etc).

Also if you are looking for a sharing solution you might want to check out another product of ours called HUB. This allows you to share your calendar with anyone else without the limitations of having to be on the same calendar platform.

That said there isnt just us out there. You might want to check out the Google Marketplace and see what companies offer solutions like this. You never know what you can find!
