in What’s in your Wallet? on Pimp Your Finances
Here is what is in my wallet License, Chase rewards, Discover rewards, insurance (me and car), $5, one penny.

I use my Chase card for all purchases since I get cash back. The Discover card gets cash back too, but this month the rewards are not appealing since they revolve every three months...so it is more there for an emergency.

I have the $5 for mini emergencies..should be a $20 so I can magnetize more money to my life.

I found the penny on the ground.

The David You're a better person than I. I'm going to re-organize and downgrade the contents of my wallet soon.

I don't like carrying cash either. When I do, it tends to disappear, and I have no idea where it goes.

If I have to use a card, I find that I'll make a lot fewer small purchases (like a quick snack or drink here or there)

in 4 Tips to Help You Use More Coupons on Geezeo Blog
Sometimes (not often) the coupon for the brand works out better. I usually buy 10 cans of store brand milk for the month as it is 74 cents and the brand is 83 cents.

I got a coupon for 50 cents off two cans of the brand....so this month I got 8 cans of the store brand and 2 cans of the brand name.

The two brand name cans cost 18 cents more but the coupon was for 50 cents off so I saved 32 cents. Next month I am going back to my ten cans of store brand because I don't have any more coupons, but it worked in this one case.

in 5 Important Things You Should Know About Debit Cards on Geezeo Blog
I don't even have debit cards for my regular accounts. In fact the only debit card I now have is for my ING account which I only use during the time they offer the cash back for purchases.

I recently used the card to send money via moneygram because ordinarily I would have to transfer the money from my ING account over to a regular bank and then withdraw it then walk over to the moneygram place to send the money. Now I just swipe my debit card on the day I need to send the money, and don't lose the interest on the days that the transfer would have taken.

in Salvador Dali Says Your 3D Product Design is INSANE on SolidSmack
I found your post through ProBlogger's group project and just thought I would stop by to say hello to the top 5 posters for the first day of the contest.

I like the Dali with the clocks...forgot the name. I think his paintings are a little mind blowing and definitely not for beginners.

in Are You A Blogoholic? on Sellsius
1. I realized I was a blogoholic when I woke up from surgery and thought I could blog about the experience...instead of rejoicing that the surgery went well.

2. Also...every time I talk to my boyfriend about something it is always preceded by "So I read on a blog that...."

3. You realized you are a blogoholic when your significant other says that you talk about bloggers like they live down the street...eg "Clever Dude got a new....." or "ProBlogger will be out this week".

in Twenty Something Finances - October 29, 2007 on Investing Adventures
Thank you for hosting the carnival this time. Just one suggestion for next time, put more spacing in between each article because it can get overwhelming when trying to see what each article is about.

Thanks again.
