You should dump dell and go with Sager. I bought my laptop with a 17" lcd 1680x1050, athlon 64 3400+, 1gig of ram, 80 gig 5400rpm hard drive, 8x DL DVD+RW, gigabit ethernet, 802.11g, and the nicest speakers I've ever heard in laptop from Sager for $2,100. I ordered mine from discountlaptops.com and recieved it in three days. Best laptop I've ever owned. You can also try pctorque.com, they seem to keep better stock, they also host notebookforums.com, a great resource for laptop reviews and info. Wow, this really seems like an ad. Sorry, just fed up with dell myself.
