MLM might be legal but it's in an ethical grey area. Assuming the product is great, you sure you'd still want to do this? It's a fast way to lose friends. :)
The money is only great in theory. You should give it a go and find out for yourself.

Hey I saw your article, were you trying to hide your NS haircut? :)
So where do you see your blog in 2 years' time?

=). Yeah, of course. That's the only reason for the hat.
And well, I don't really "see" anything that far ahead. I'll just..take it as it goes, and keep open to as many opportunities as I can.

Hi Derrick, I was glad that I had the chance to attend university overseas. It broadened my horizons, and fundamentally changed the way I think.
To me, it's not an insurance policy - after all, quite a few graduates are currently unemployed. But it's certainly an investment in myself, which will pay dividends for the rest of my life.
All the best to you. :)

Hi, yeah. University can be a good experience, I don't doubt that.
Good point about graduates being unemployed. I think that in today's world, there isn't really any good "insurance policy".

Hello there,
I'm a distributor of bamboo flooring in Singapore. Was quite surprised to hear that bamboo flooring could be sourced locally in USA.
As far as I know, most bamboo flooring is made in China (ours included). Would you have any more details about their supplier?
Also, bamboo can fully regenerate in 4 to 6 years, that's about half the 10 years mentioned in your article.
Cheers

Bamboo does grow here in the U.S. -- about 60 varieties, most originally sourced from China. I noticed this link on the topic:
http://attra.ncat.org/attra-pub/bamboo.html
And you're right: it grows quickly. I'm looking at a 30-foot stand in my neighbor's yard right now. Most of it was destroyed during Hurricane Ivan. That was three years ago. Amazing.
Perhaps Ben has info on where that project's bamboo was sourced.

Hi,
So how goes the CNG car research?
From what I've read, CNG is only 20% cleaner than petrol in terms of CO2 emission. The mileage isn't great, you get about 90-120km per tank (which is heavy and lowers your economy).
The only proper CNG station on Singapore mainland is at Mandai. Unless you stay or work around there, it won't make sense to drive all the way to fill up. If you stay in Pasir Ris, the tank would be half empty by the time you get home from the station!
So, in the end you will use petrol most of the time, and the CNG tank becomes a white elephant. Registering a CNG car entitles you to the hybrid car tax benefits, but do keep in mind you'll get back less when you eventually scrap your car.
A hybrid car like Prius is a better choice, but I would buy a diesel myself. When I change my car in a few years, I believe the diesel tax would no longer be prohibitive.
Hope this helps. :)

I think "correlations" is a better term than "connections". Correlations can be spurious, and statistical analysis is required to rule out other underlying causes.

I'm using Wordpress for my web site (http://www.starbamboo.com), and it works great.
If you want it to be set up as a CMS, just create new content using static "pages" instead of blog "posts". And then set a page to appear on the front page.
I've experimented with Joomla, but it falls far short of Wordpress in terms of user-friendliness.
But I'm really curious about this compending feature - is it just hype?

I bet if Fandi could turn back time, he would have pursued a career in Europe. He could have been a big fish in a big pond there.
Anyway, whatever happened to Fandi? We hardly hear about him any more.

It's not necessarily a way to lose friends. MLM can be done in an ethical way. The system itself is neither ethical nor unethical - the ethics comes down to the individual person and how he/she does the sales, in my opinion.
