in How To Choose A Domain Name on Guru Fodder
Hey Mark,
I don't understand, why does Homer want a domain named after a road in Wales? :)
If you have been to Wales you will understand this.

Homer, the poor confused guy, has no strategy. He jumps from one idea to the next and allegedly saw a TV documentary about a place in Wales and thought he should start a site selling Welsh Dolls (very collectable). Unsure how to proceed he was torn between a catchy domain name and one with hyphens. He chose both :) Mark

in Homer Gets Sick In The Free Deal That Wasn’t on Guru Fodder
Hey AH,
At least Homer ate his ice cream that is a lot more than a lot of people do with their special one time never to be repeated purchases. :)
Randy The Hermit's last blog post..Time or Money, which is it?
That is very true - it was because Marge is getting knowledgeable about his ways and he needs to hide what he is up to. But does Marge really know?? Mark

in Internet Explorer, Firefox or Flock - You’ll Be Surprised on Guru Fodder
Hey AH,
I just started using it as my default browser and I have installed a lot of the Firefox addons and they have all worked so far.
They need to be compatible with the latest version of Firefox just go to the Firefox extensions page and click on the download and they auto install.
Pretty cool.

Is that picture you as a kid playing cowboys and indians?
Randy The Hermit's last blog post..Find out what your customers want. Survey them!
In the UK we call bad or unreliable workmen "cowboys" so I guess the picture is very appropriate for a "Bad Guru". Me as a kid? You may think that but as usual I couldn't possibly comment! ;) Mark

Just to be complicated I think you should keep the current model but with a different pose.

I'll take that as a compliment about my current good looks Randy. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Maybe I'll just smarten up my hair. Mark

Hey Wizzer,
Great post! I now know where I stand in your ranking system.
One thing I can advise is work on only one thing until you make some money with it and then use that money to advance your business to the next step.
Most people that are just starting out have a tendency to jump from one money making method to another without ever finishing what they started.
Don't spend the money if you are not going to do the work.
Hi Randy, you are so right. I've been guilty of this - probably because I've convinced myself the sales message was true and it would work in a few days! THERE IS NO alternative that really works - find a system that maker sense to you & work it until it works. Great advice - thanks. Mark

in What Is Guru Fodder? And Who Are The Guru Sceptics? on Guru Fodder
Hi Wizzer,
I like your definitions but I am confused as to what category I would fall in.
I do buy almost everything out there but I only do it with profits from my own sales. If I like it I do recommend it.
I am a sceptic (or Skeptic on this side of the pond) but I usually purchase so that I can actually see the product and make up my own mind.
Does this make me Sceptic Fodder?
Randy The Hermit
Hi Randy, thanks for stopping by. The category is dependent upon whether you wittingly purchase or get taken in by the hype. You know what you are doing and why. I'll create a new category for you!! It is also perfectly acceptable, even for TheAntiHype to recommend a product that is hyped up, as long as it lives up to that hype. It's the "buy today - retire tomorrow without doing a thing" stance that I'm so against - I'm sorry to inform everyone that won't work! TheAntiHype
