in Our disappearing web on Scobleizer
Interesting how far we'll go to try to Archive EVERYTHING. I think its important from an information perspective, because as we archive more, then future generation become smarter - but where do we draw the line. I think as computers become faster and the techniques for storage become more productive, etc. then archiving won't be as 'difficult'. As a result, I feel it may take years until we start archiving everything, so this post possibly might not make it to the year 3,000, but others may. Robert - Interesting to think about this though none the less.

Alana is one of the nicest people you are ever likely to meet. I'm glad that she stood up for what she thought. I agree, educational systems are 'out of touch', and I thought this was a great article!

Alex. Interesting article! Reminds me of SEO companies that claim to be able to help you, but have HORRIBLE SEO search result Page ranks for their own company. I agree - trust your gut :) Great points!

I agree man. I guess it goes back to a 'Jack of all trades but master of none'. You spread out so thin that your community is diminished by its lack of personal attention.

It not only tough to keep up with them, and this is exactly what you stressed at Podcamp... very true.

drewolanoff All of the things I talk about are directed to myself as well as others, so hopefully nobody gets rubbed the wrong way.

It's just true. A lot of people are ok at conferences because they're "on" about something. But in regular real life situations it's a very few who can be themselves and still be a real friend and someone you'd want to hang out with again.

It just kind of makes me sad is all.
