I changed a whole part of my game only to find out it was not that. After some more devving and finally got to the code that was causing it.

Roach Toaster is turn-based game, so whenever I press Enter, everything happens. It turned out that I had a very inneficient way of targeting enemies. I basically checked through every roach to see if it is behind a wall and then checked if it was the nearest one.

The result was that if I added another unit, the total amount of loops doubled, thus it became unplayable with more than 5 units in the level. >.<

I luckily solved it by 1st finding the nearest one and then checking if it is behind a wall. If it was, I just chucked it out of the array.

Someting like that... It would be hard to understand without actually having the code and game before you. :P

Re: Dream. Thanks for commenting on this post, I appreciate it! Thanks for commenting on Roach Toaster too. :).

Ive been devving for almost 3 years now. I started when I was 15.

Referring to comment 2: I have received several standings in comps, most of them being local (South African) games.

Re: Dream. How will you go about modding it to Xbox-360, or did you not use a mouse?

Re: Dream. I've been wanting to change the theme. I was aiming for my blog's one year anniversary, but I guess I'll do it sometime soon.

Re: The Distance Chasse

Oh yeah... D'oh. Didn't realise about the download. Will add it.

Well, the name comes from a specific instrument I used called "Chasse" in FL Studio 7, which also happens to be a dance style. "The Distance" implies ambience. So it is kinda a mix and match between dance and ambient tracks.

Oh yeah. Track 3! I was going to add another remix, but it just didn't quite fit. Forgot to remove it. :P

Re: No linebreaks needed.

I know. >_<

I lost it when I formatted my PC. Silly me. I'll slowly but surely post it there. It will take time.

Re: My gmail inbox - almost 4 years now

No way... Hadn't thought of that.

But if that "something" wasn't said, wouldn't it have remained a grudge?

What I actually want to say. Isn't it better to say something or let it remain unsaid and let it fester?

Its a topic for another blog post... In short, I think the internet is bring people together. It will create rifts and join other people together, but ultimately it is a great confrontation, that when finally solved, will bring great reward for humanity.

Re: Tweekly.fm

Don't think so. Twitter assigns one for you.

The name was just too derogatory. I thought it simply meant "idiot".
