I don't know what's wrong with THOSE people, but I honestly think that your blog is amusing, kind of like reading 'Clueless' if it's a blog (in that cute, elite way), and with the achievements that you've made, I'm pretty surprised that you're still well grounded. Just keep it up and let THOSE people do what they want, afterall, criticism is the best form of flattery, isn't it?

Regarding "going on the record". The record speaks for itself. Since the inception of VSP in 1996, no less than six general partners have left the firm. The number is higher if you include venture partners and other executive team members. The high turnover rate speaks a lot as to how it's really like to work with Rees-Gallanter. Unlike the above poster whose company benefitted from the millions that VSP invested and saw her only every 6-8 weeks at a board meeting, the departed partners worked with Rees-Gallanter on a daily basis and I would guess, did not leave the firm because it was a collabrative work place.

What a nice list. Isn't forgiveness wonderful...I totally forgot I ws supposed to do the Children's messaage at our church one day. I'm standing back in the back, sent my kiddos up, and said "Hmmm, I wonder who has the message today?" I opened my bulletin to find out...and there was MY NAME staring back at me. I was so mortified. But everyone forgave me and life continued.
5 miles...that's awesome! My goal is 1-2 miles 5 days a week.
